The zip file contains the component, the plugin and installation manual.
Component
There are three parameters for configuring the component in the admin section:
Extensions Allowed: Specify the extensions for the files to be allowed.
Directory Name: Specify the name of the directory where the files will be uploaded. The directory will be found in your sites root directory.
Maximum File Size: Maximum file size allowed for uploading.
You can delete the files from admin section.
Plugin
For downloading the files from the frontend a plugin is provided.
With the help of this plugin, by mentioning the full file name in the content, it will be replaced with its appropriate link. And it will be downloaded by simply clicking on the filename.
Note: If you want to uninstall the component the directory will not be deleted so you can access the files.
