MijoFTP is a smart, fast and lightweight file manager component. It operates from Joomla back-end so you don't have to use any FTP program anymore.

You can browse folders, create, edit, copy, move, delete, search, upload and download files and much more.

I've tried to get many other file managers to work on this server I'm developing on and none of them would work properly, something to do with strict standards. Anyway I nearly gave up until I tried MijoFTP and it worked flawlessly, thank you very much for this component it's exactly what I need.
