This looked like it was going to be exactly what I needed. The end client wants to be able to do everything from the front end and after installing this on a test system ad checking it out on my Mac, it looked PERFECT. Then I did that final test for you basic office client: IE. Bombed. The javascript errors just pile up and fail in IE.

I have been looking forever for an extension that allows users to upload files, and now I've found this excellent component. It can be buggy, but it's easy to use and has the features I need.
This is the best download component i have seen yet for joomla. Simple and quick install and really easy to maintain. Thank you very much!
