Very nice program, offers a lot.

Only 1 things that I can think of that I would ask for changes on. Execution results in errors if you've locked down (htaccess, password protected) your administrator. Which was fixable by copying the com_jfu files from the admin to the public access components. It would make sense to purely move permanently these files to remove this confusion.

Other wise this program has a lot to offer. Nice action and easy to use. Quick and very responsive. Upload function and graphics are nice, uses FTP if you have it. Allows for front and admin access, can include it on an article via module include. LOTS of nice configurations & parameters.

All in all very worthwhile program.

This is J! 3rd party software at it's very best: rock solid, flexible, well-documented and answering to an urgent need for a variety of site uses. I am using it for fast bulk uploads of client images.

Installation and configuration is pretty straight forward and if you run in to trouble there is savvy and prompt support.

The tool is particularly suitable to upload large amounts of data to the server. Of course you can do this with an FTP tool, but here users can assign specific rights and the handling is directly in Joomla!
Particularly suitable for customer orders, associations, and of course for themselves ;-)
Who cares picture galleries and other data collections, this tool will appreciate very quickly!

And what is not always obvious: the support is very good! Also in German!

that's a fine tool and has everything one need for maintaining files at the website. It's easy to install and very flexible to adjust. I like this great tool especially the frontend part. Even the free software is very useful. Thanks for sharing.

I feel this is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time......a long time. It must be the German Quality thing like I still have my fathers Ziess Camera an binoculars and my trusty Heckler & Koch. They just make good reliable stuff.
I have a business where I needed a simple secured efficient tool to upload potentially large databases from my customers and I looked around and their tool JFU kept popping up as a good solution. I tried it and I have been satisfied for over a year.
I hired a local college student to do some customization for it and he said it was easy to work with and relatively simple to implement. He was able to create a plugin that emailed users after an upload to inform them that the file would be deleted after a set time had expired. This tool does a great job and our customers really love it. In fact several have put it on there own sites for personal family file uploads too large for email. I should talk to the man about becoming a VAR actually.
As for the support the "TinyWebGallery" team has been phenomenal. I have no complaints. They have overlooked my inexperience in there tools and been very prompt and courteous at answering my questions. Buy this product and never look back this choice will be the best decision you have made in a long time.

This component did exactly what I needed it to do. Just plane Excellent!!

Was looking for something smooth and robust for file management for admins, and users. This goes along well with people that have clients that have files passed back and forth. Folder creation for each user and access to those folders only makes this Excellent!

Original joomla flash uploader is not working since flashplayer version 10. I was waiting for the joomla team for a fix... but it's been a while and we had none.
Thanks for this excellent replacement. It's better as it has a file manager also. This will make life much easier.

This extension absolutely rocks! I was looking for something to use my website for my clients to send me larger files without having to use FTP. I tried pretty much every extension in the Joomla File Management repository before happening upon this one. It's easy to install, configure and works like a champion for uploading any size files.

Just one comment / this thing is awesome !
A must have for file management.
The only small drawback is the htaccess error that I get when I try to use it through a firewall ... even by following the instructions from the support I cannot get a server connection using Endian Firewall, but thats a quite special problem.
Anyhow thanks a lot for this very nice and useful extension !

This component works incredibly well and is very robust. The developer was very helpful and prompt on the forum when I was having configuration issues due to my hosts setup. It installed and ran without any trouble on my old host and he helped get me up and running in a matter of minutes on my new host.

Seriously. If there was a higher rating than five, I'd give it! One of no more than ten extensions I intend to head over right now and throw some money at! Even if they don't give me anything in exchange. Worked right out of the box (Ok, so a lot of config has to be done, but all easily understood and clear).

This is excellent. Thank you. Works really well, very user friendly - I appreciate the resize function.

I had some problems getting this started but with the help of the developer was able to track it to file permissions. With those fixed it works perfectly. Incredible range of configuration options and controls. It even allows you to save all the config settings when uninstalling to upgrade to a new release. One of the few free extensions I've wanted to pay for.

If you have a lot of files to upload to your Joomla website, look no further.

It does exactly what it says -- quickly and with no fuss! :-)

The first time I used it, it worked fine right out of the box. Then, on another installation, I bought the paid version (so that I could upload more than 3 MB at a time) but I had trouble setting the permissions. The developer not only debugged it for me, but added something to the extension so that others wouldn't run into the same snag.

That's what I call a well supported product.
