I paid for the silver subscription because I'm a web developer and manage numerous sites. My understanding was that in addition to being able to update my Joomla installation, I would be able to keep my sites' extensions up to date.
This is VERY disappointing. I should have complete control over which sites I set up with profiles, so long as I don't go over the number my subscription provides for.
What makes this a poor response, in my opinion, is that there is even a "delete" button right in the profile list. What does that button do? Nothing, according to this response.
Frankly, I'm quite disappointed in this product and service. On the front page, you write, "Update all your extensions right from Joomla Updater!" But the only thing that I can really update is Joomla itself, and - at least as of yesterday - it doesn't even update to the latest version, which is 1.5.20. That claim should be classified as false advertising.
When I look at the various panels in the component in the back end, I see numerous "(old) [ Update ] " tags, but of course, I can't update the components in question, because either there's no update really available, or because the update process creates an error, which I've noted before.
I suppose, since I've already paid for the subscription, I'm stuck with the product and with the loss of money I paid for it. Obviously, I won't be using it, as it's fairly useless on a practical, day-to-day basis.
If all you want to do is update Joomla itself, I wouldn't bother with this component - there are others that do the same thing and for free.

Hi. Thanks for your great extension. Only one thing. If you protect your /administrator directory (with .htaccess .htpasswd), obupdater puts a code in your web page to /administrator, every time visitors go to your web, its will get a message with login/password. Is posible remove this reference to /administrator in the page??
Do you know that after ive downloaded hundreds of apps from this site i just now finally registered just so i could leave a comment here. I tried the other updaters and got nothing but errors and problems because i have alot of joomla sites in subdirectories.
I decided to try this because i already tried all the others and left this for last because it only had 1 comment and WOW.
I got the download after i registered on their site and installed it. i click this 1 little button that says update to 1.517 and it took like 30 seconds and it was done. I thought it was a mistake at first because it was so fast but sure enough it was upgraded. Thank you very much for this app. I will be getting the Subscription from you.

This is a great piece of software for a few reasons.
1. You can update Joomla with the click of a button
2. You can stay up to date across multiple sites you run with the subscription service (Can you say time saver??)
3. You can keep your extensions up to date with their subscription service too!
