With “Multi Sites Menu Item”, you can for example define menu entries in a corporate website that is associated to a menu entry of a another website. This allow you to redirect the user to the corresponding sub-site like if the user has clicked on this specific sub-site menu item.
The referenced (target) menu item can be modified without affecting the “Multi Sites Menu Item” entry as this component retreive each time the current menu item definition of the target website.
In fact the "Multi Sites Menu Item", retreive the menu item definition present in the target website before redirecting the user to this website using the first domain name defined in the JMS site definition and corresponding to the target site ID.
