The name of this product does not do it justice. We are seeing a lot of buzz around CCK's and this is what this product is and more. Support is outstanding. A lot of the features we can't wait to see in Joomla 1.6 are already available with Catalog.

Jxtended Catalog was well worth the money. The support is great. I needed to do a lot of customizing but everything worked as promised. I don't think I could have accomplished what I needed with another product. If you would like to see a sample of what the product can do with customization, please visit www.withamperformancehorses.com.

We have implemented Catalog internally as our staff phone directory and externally as an events register (http://www.toowoombaRC.qld.gov.au/events). The power and flexibility of Catalog is worth the setup effort.
We have this combined with Magazine and Control (both also by the JX team) and we love it. These tools are designed for the enterprise or sophisticated Joomla implementation - not the six page home website.
I have found the development team to be very helpful and active.

Jxtended Catalog is the only directory extension robust enough to handle what we needed. Although we downloaded the beta version for 1.5.6 and there have been some bugs, Andrew Eddie has been super at support especially for someone like me who knows enough to get in trouble but not get out of it. Coolest features include multiple directory listing assignments and global parameter settings. Also the robustness of the navigation of the directory structure is really wonderful for the front end. We only look forward to the enhancements that are sure to come.
