Easy to install via the core Joomla installer, doesn't load Mootools if already loaded by the template and easy styling with Css.
Install and start adding items!

I like this component very much, it works great. The only thing I'd like to see - categories, which can be published separatly by plugin in different places (in articles).
Pagination - the second thing, I'd like to see in this component - we have 12 pictures, for example, but display only six. By pressing "next" we go next page (ajax) and see the rest of pix.
Anyway - JuliaPortfolio is great :)

As Ant101 & vygandas have pointed out, thumbnails are not working. I installed it on J1.5.14.
Not sure what author means by importance of configuring it first, there are only 4 configuration options listed. This component has fewer config options than most other components for Joomla! I have seen.
Solving the thumbnails issue would make this a great OOB component.

Both users you mentioned got the component working by asking for support. The component is pretty straightforward, so please ask yourself if you are doing something wrong before submitting a bad review.

I love this! It is very easy to install and it works great...it was just what I was looking for. Only issue was with changing the title and the link to the author. The author link still doesn't remove in this version...at least in a rockettheme template. I was able to remove it and the title in the code to suit my needs. Again....kudos to you and I will visit your site more often for anything else.

Thank you for your words. To be able to remove the author link, please download the latest version (1.3.3) from the member area, which fixes the author link bug from the previous version.

This is a great looking new simple component, but it has some major problems.
1) The thumbnail jpg image does not appear (I'm using Joomla 1.5.10)
2) there is a link with the developers name on it below each portfolio link.
The lightbox effect works great.
I think this extension would be a real winner if those 2 problems could be sorted out.
Else I can't use it :(

Well, it should be simple portfolio, i was keen to test it, but I've encoutered two bugs: thumbnails doesnt work (shows 1 blank thumbnail, though I uploaded 3 pictures) and details doesnt show, even though I selected "details" layout.
