JoomD is a content construction kit, directory solution for Joomla and provides the following straightforward features:

JoomD's Plugin Manager has some very interesting plugins and continuously developing new ones:
Rate and Review plugin
Manages all the aspects of Ratings and Reviews for each Directory Type and Categories.
Newsletter plugin
Create newsletters for each directory type and categories. Manage subscribers for each directory. Allow subscriber to subscribe to multiple newsletters using the Newsletter module.
* Option to choose if User registration is required to add entries and manage those entries (As obvious, only registered users can manage their entries)
* Option to Add Captcha in the Entry Submission form
* Option to display entries to Registered users only and making user registration as required for guest users to view detailed entries.
* Set emails for Notification to one or more administrators.
* Option to Approve entries from the backend or set it to approve automatically
* Option to make a field as Required
* Option to Include custom fields in Search
* Add CSS Class in a custom field

Run JoomD with multiple languages. Install the language plugin using the Language Manager and start adding contents for each language you have installed.

Thanks for your wonderful review. We are working nights and days to release the JoomD v 1.3 by 20th September. That's our deadline.
Almost 50 new functionality for v1.3 and another 100 or so modifications from the existing version.

If you want a flexible directory then JOOMD is your extension. It enables you to add custom fields which means it can be tailored to suit any type of directory you could imagine.
Well worth the $15 as it has saved me a heap of time.

Your ideas rock! They have been included in JoomD v 1.2 and I am sure Joomla users will like it.
And it is not just custom fields which let you create any kind of directory but there are features like Include each custom field as a Search option, Choose or Design your own template to match your site and many other features coming soon in the next version.
In the next few days, we are going to release two consecutive versions of JoomD.
I am really loving it! Immersed in the thought-process and further innovation for our apps.

Yes, we have almost 25 new functionality to be added in the next version, JoomD v 1.2. It includes WYSIWIG Editor as well. There are functionality like CSV Export/Import, Option to display entry to registered users only, Social Bookmarking functionality, Choose your template feature and many more.
Google Maps plugin is due for v 1.3 which we will be releasing just a week after JoomD v 1.2.

Easy installation and easy setup but I do struggle a bit with the custom field settings and went looking for that documentation using the button supplied here.
Unfortunately, I could not find it.
