Looking for production version

The community could use a good coupon extension with module and plugin. I was excited to download and try this extension. Unfortunately, this (in my opinion) is not ready for a production site. Also, I am concerned that basic interface standards of Joomla CMS are not being used by this and other extensions that I have tried in recent months. Specifically the use of the "save", "apply" functions that are built into Joomla with Joomla core icons.

A good start

This extension has promise, I tried to use it on a site, but had a problem with the coupon image always displaying on the top and to the right of the description text. I then put the coupon image in the description editor box and it displayed ok, but when tried to print, a blank page was generated. I can only assume that the print function attempts to print the coupon image and there was not one. I went to the developers demo site and when I clicked on the or the image again a blank page was displayed. I encourage the developers to stay with it. There is certainly a need for a good coupon extension for joomla

Great Potential, but not ready for release!

I have been waiting for a release like this, so I immediately downloaded and plugged in. Unfortunately, this extension is a little far from ready for release. Look for 2.0!
The Coupon needs a module to show up, which is fine, but it only shows test and no images. Then, when you click on the text, it shows a really basic text next to an image. However, when you hit the "PRINT" function, the pop-up only shows the image, and not the writing. So, the coupon must be the image to print.

In addition, the module will only display the text of the 5 most recent coupons. It would be nice if the coupons were created as article, so that they could be attached to a scroller or gallery.

Thanks for your feedback. It would have been great if you have really tested it out first and then have written this review. Or if you could have went through our documentation.

All those above features you have listed are indeed there but we were planning to release the next version by 20th of October with new sets of features. Please check the details about our next release at our forum.

These half-baked reviews really discourage us from going ahead for further developments!!

Very Solid Component With A Lot Of Potential

This is a very new component, but it shows a lot of potential. For anyone looking for a good coupon component, this is one that has been long overdue. There are a few bugs that still need to be worked out, and the module options could be better, but once those issues are fixed, this will become a top-notch component. And based on how quickly the authors have responded to my inquiries, that probably won't take too long.

Thanks for the appreciation. We are almost done with our next release. QA is on.

We invite suggestions from our users. Coupons Management System is mostly made up of those suggested functionality from our users.

We are regularly on our support forum to make sure our users doesnt have to wait too long to sort their issues.

Very good start!

How cool that I was just hired to help someone get a coupon site up and running fast and this component was just added!

I like it and it seems to be what my client needs. It was super easy to install and setup coupons.

Unless I am missing something, the only thing I see wrong is that the image of the coupons do not always display despite having the correct url to the image...

But this is really a great extension and I already look forward to the next version !

I also agree, that, it is only in initial stage right now. There's a lot more development going on with it and we will keep you updated with our new versions.
