A simple, secure and reliable way to offer downloadable files on your site.
Some of its features include:
-Highly configurable button styling: plain, css-style, image.
-Backend upload (only for Joomla 1.6 and later)
-Force download option.
-Hiding of download file path.
-Optional file name for the download.
-Security against CSRF attacks.
-Automatic detection of MIME types.

This module is ONLY for images. You can't use it to link to any other file type

In part this is due to lack of documentation from our side, because, in fact, you can use dButton to link to almost any file type (even if Joomla's "media" form field doesn't allow that).
