Easy to use! You can Use your already typed content items. MooFAQ will use Joomla default content items. This feature enable you to set it up in less the 3 minutes;
So you will have a full featured FAQ with all WYSIWYG Editors features, such as:
* Add images;
* Edit the HTML code;
* Use your template CSS;
* Text formating options: alignment, indentation, bullets list, etc
* Font formatting: type, size, color, style, bold, italic, etc
* Add links and anchors;
* Add MooFAQ to any content item, using the plugin;
* HTML Templates; (NEW)
* And much more...
And you will have all Joomla! content option, such as:
* Publishing: Start and Finish Publishing, Ordering, Author Alias, Access Level;
* Using mosimage and mospagebreak if needed;
* All content plugins (mambots) can be applied to the faq item;
* Compatible with Joom!Fish [1];
* Change the content parameters: Show or hide section, category, author, created date, PDF icon, Print icon,...
* Add Meta Info: Keywords and description;

Although this component was meant to display FAQs, you can use to show any content category, or don't select any category to show all your site content.

I highly recommend this component and it's support staff. I was using a freebie before and hated updating it because it required one big messy html div, but this FAQ implementation is brilliant, works like it says and makes updating them super simple.
I've even gotten super fast support responses both in the forums and email.

I tried a few free FAQ extensions at first. One caused Javascript conflicts, and the other was too complex for my client to update. Then I purchased MooFAQ after reading the glowing reviews and I'm very glad I did! I had it up and running in minutes, and it will be very easy for my client to maintain (questions and answers are handled via Joomla articles, one article per question.) There's a nice range of styles too... Highly recommended.

We've used MooFAQ and Contact Enhanced for years with great success. Need help? The forum is constantly monitored and answered. Need more help? Douglas is right there via e-mail to help you resolve anything with his products.
Easy to manage, configure and in case you don't get it - there's a ton of tutorials & knowledge base articles. Combined that with a well "Solved" forum and there's no reason any Ideal component won't rock your site.

I have used Douglas's other extension, Contact Enhanced, for years, but I had never tried this one until recently. As I expected, I am extremely pleased with MooFAQ. It works exactly as I expected, and is very easy to customize to fit the look of my site.
And, as usual, the support by Douglas is outstanding. I found one small display error (under IE9) and Douglas had a fix to me in less than an hour. I can't be more pleased with his extensions and support!!!

Back in the day with joomla 1.5 i had some problems with the extension and never used it anymore.
Now my site is running 2.5 and considered a few weeks ago to give it a shot again! But wow it works like a charm so easy and everything works ok.
Have multiple faqs running it easy and fast is use!

This does what it says, very cleanly and easily. Makes adding to faqs very easy. Support is fast and professional.

We used this extension of several years now and recently we've updated to the version for Joomla! 2.5 without a hitch.
Douglas has even gone out of his way to add features that made our lives easier! There are not many commercial extensions where you post a feature request one day and get updated files by email the next morning - that's what I call service :D

The is the first and last FAQ component I will ever use, because it's easy to install, performs superbly and the tech support is on point!
Using with Joomla 2.5.3.
Pros: Installation, Configuration, Functionality, Appearance and the list goes on!
Cons: none!
Level of Support Received: Quick, Courteous and Professional! Ask a question and receive assistance directly from the developer, Douglas Machado.
Purpose: For FAQs and to present multiple articles and subcategories for class descriptions. The slider does and awesome job for this! The visitor clicks on an article, it expands, when the visitor clicks on another article and the previous article will collapse and then the page automatically scrolls along preventing the user from having to manually scroll at all! If I could post a link, I would.

I have tried a few different FAQ plugins and components and this one is the best. I have been using it since it was first created and put here on the JED.
I had a few problems with a conflict with a template and they were VERY fast to answer and come up with a high quality fix. Great at answering any and all questions.
Very easy to customize the styling, and css compliant.

This extension is no1 faq extension and slider content extension in my book... and i tried about 5-6 similar products in this category, 2 of them being commercial ones.
Reasons of MooFaq being so good are:
1) Its stable and works with all browsers without any issues
2) It doesnt conflict with other Mootools, Jquery extensions on site
3) Compatible with other Joomla extensions, especially content plugins
4) Many features like, selecting which tabs expand, tabs in categories etc
5) Many Templates
6) Great Support from Douglas

Excellent service - ran into some minor problems on installation which Douglas very quickly responded to and addressed. Hugely recommended.
