I've been looking for a component to use as a publisher that will enable subscribers to view and read my articles and publications on-line; then I came across Joomla Flash Magazine Extension. What a dream come true! Very precise and easy to install. you need little or no experience to get it to work, just follow the instructions and the rest is history. the features are outstanding e.g Sound, Images, Content compared to the other flip book extensions. for me it's a relief and a job well done by the Joomla Team, you don't want to know how grateful I am.

I like how flexible the component is. It works well and has enough tweaking ability to display my flipping magazines. It works and don't make me crazy. I don't need more.

I must say I am very impressed with the product and the support. I needed a flash magazine component for my craft business (www.mycraftwork.com/designer-catalogs) and looked all over the internet for a good bang for my buck. I found magazine components with prices in the $150 range and was definitely not going to spend that kind of money. That's when I stumbled on the flash magazine deluxe... so I read its reviews, checked out the samples and the price was very affordable (I believe it was less than $45/website). I decided to give it a try and downloaded the component. It took me 2 minutes to get everything setup and I was on my way to upload my first magazine in no time. Everything worked flawlessly with the exception of a minor "styling" detail; I wanted the magazine thumbnails to match my other pictures in the website (with a border etc.). So I contacted Joomplace and explained my issue and they were very willing to help me out. I was getting a very good turn around time despite the fact that I didn't have the "paid support" option. These guys literally went out of their way to change the html in the component so that my pictures had borders in them. I was very happy with the result and I will definitely be doing more business with joomplace for my future component needs.

Not only is it easy to install but it is straight forward to use. You can insert a magazine directly into a content article just as you would with most plug-ins. I use it for a video magazine and my client loves it. Thank you for a job well done.

The extension installs fairly easily without too much experience you can get it working the features are outstanding e.g Sound, Images, Content compared to the other flip book extensions i had a quick look at but it is limited by domain and the support was great at helping with my issues and on the same day too. Id like to see one thing added which is to associate a article with a flip book as text and images... that would be great...

This is the first time I write a review about an extension I found on Joomla.org.
I would like to say that this component is excellent. Although I had a little problem to make It work, I just have to say that the support is clearly efficient. I had the solution for my problem in one day. And the component works perfectly now.

I'm webmaster for a charity, and we needed to put our paper newsletter online to save costs. There was some resistance from members, who liked their paper newsletter, so I was looking for an extension that made it look as much like the printed version as possible. Flash Magazine Deluxe has achieved that for us, and the online newsletter looks good and is popular with members.

However, to get a professional-looking result from this extension you need first to be able to produce your magazine as image files for uploading. The built-in WYSISWG editor is extremely basic, and it would not be possible to make up a sophisticated page layout using this extension alone. The documentation is quite sparse, and lacks an overview that fully explains what the extension actually does. I'm sure that the developers will remedy this soon.

Overall, this extension does a good job of turning image files into a nicely-presented flicking magazine with reader-friendly controls, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs that functionality and is happy to work it through without much hand-holding. If you're looking for something that will take your Joomla! articles and present them as a magazine, this is not it.

The only extension I found useful to display PDF magazine with flip efffect at my site. You have to convert it into images, but then it takes seconds to convert them into flipping magazine as a package. It is what I need. Thanks!

I just needed to create a couple of virtual magazines for a client, and I had no idea how to do it. Then I found this extension, and now my client is simply happy. The magazines can contain images and flash files, and with creativity, you will get pretty nice virtual magazines.

I highly recommend this extensions.

After searching a long time after a component for Joomla! that one can use a newspaper's online edition, which is possible to browse, I have finally found one. Being able to browse the online version of a newspaper is a necessity.

Download a PDF file simply is not enough, therefore, Flash Magazine Deluxe fits perfectly to this task.

Newspaper website base on Joomla will have a good option for news showing.

I prefer magazine and book function, the joomla website will be very flexible in content display.

Fantastic Extension with Creative Thinking

I found this extension when I was searching in random for new extensions. So I thought to test this out. To my surprise, this turned out to be one of the best extensions I have so far purchased.

This is my first ever review and after all the things I've installed this is by far the best. Hence me getting around to doing a review!!!

The product is fantastic and really met my needs. The thing that stands out for this one as opposed to others I tried is that this one has a WYSIWYG editor which means you can insert html links into the text on the pages. It looks smart and professional.

I had a few teething problems but the customer service is FANTASTIC! They are quick, efficient and very patient with us learners.

Highly recommend this product. Well worth the money. :-)
