Who can use E-portfolio?
* professionals who want to have their own advanced blog with features such as forum and calendar
* people looking for a job to list their online resumes
* students and graduates having their portfolio ONLINE to be visible for teachers, parents, CEOs, etc.
* anyone who wants the world to know who they are, what they do and have already done!
Admin can create "front-end categories" (by default "classes") where users will be divided. Admin as well decides if he wants users to be able to add themselves to these categories in the front-end or only administrator can do it in the back-end.
When user is logged in (and if he is already included into one of the categories) he can add information about himself (default language labels can be changed in the language file), add event, upload files (allowed file types are defined by administrator from the back-end). There are two groups of users in the portfolio component: teachers and students (it is seen only from the back-end and you can change the labels for your front-end users).
A teacher can write messages to students. To do this, he should select a student from the class and press "Message to" menu button. A teacher can also make comments on students' files. To do this he should select a file in student's portfolio and press "Add comment". On the whole teacher is a reviewer of a student's portfolio.

I am sure this is a great component and if the time was taken your demo could show what could really be acheived by this component.
I suggest at least addign some links to sites that have used your component as I have purchased a huge amount of joomla extensions that I have never used, simply due to not being up to what I require.
Most demos are not up to what I would use if I was selling the component.
Only a suggestion. Love some links to other sites so I can see what can be done with this component. can it add images easily? can you add video to the portfolio? can you attach a pdf file?
These answers may be there but I did not see them when looking.
