PrintMe allows you to affix any custom Header or Footer to the printing of any page on your website. You can also include the full breadcrumb or pagetitle if you wish.
It allows you to have NYTimes.com-style printing capabilities for your website. Your pages are printed without modules or formatting other than the CSS you specify in Printme.
Usage Instructions:
Install the component via the core Joomla installer. This will install a component and system plugin.
Enable the system plugin.
In the component, set your custom hearder and footer.
On your front-end, affix "tmpl=component&print=1" to the end of any URL to preview what it will look like when being printed (these variables are automatically affixed to com_content URLs when you click the Joomla Print icon")
Cannot manage witch page the print icon will be set for ... You can only manage the HTML Header and Footer, witch is not what I need it for.

Well ... it can't do that because it wasn't designed to do that. So this review really isn't valid.
PrintMe just lets you control HOW things are printed - not where the print button appears - that's a Joomla issue.
This addon does what it says ... It allows you to enter data for your header and footer... Simple as that. Just don't forget to enable the plugin and it's ready to go.
Feature suggestion :
Add print function using Javascript for example to actually print the page... Some people still think that when you click print it's gonna send the page to the printer automatically! A button at the top would be nice :)

Unfortunately printme doesn't print the content of the page (at least when I tried it). Otherwise it is super customizeable, and exactly what I would need. You can add header/footer and your own CSS-styles.... but because there is no real output it is unfortunately useless :-(

This isn't the correct venue for offering support, but did you enable the system plugin and follow the instructions listed above?
There really isn't much to this component + plugin duo. You just need to be sure to enable the system plugin.
This is a very impressive tool, specially if you are looking to have a banner or logo of your site to be embedded in the head or tail of the printed document.
It also prints the breadcrumb (Path to the article) which is again a very helpful thing if someone wants to know where is that article located on the site.
I wish we could have a large print button given in the plugin to have it in the articles than a tiny one.
