customers and Joomla community - dj Catalog.
It's basically a catalogue component with the possibility of very interesting presentation of the products.
Our new extension has and interesting way of presentation with the simultaneous possibility of cataloging into specific sections and categories.
Characterized by a friendly construction, has options for adding and editing
which are not complicated, and the installation is also not difficult.
Characteristic features are:
* friendly construction (MVC model)
* not complicated options for adding and editing
* and really simple installation
It is possible to attach images and other types of files (.pdf, .txt, .zip, etc.).
The packed extension contains the main component and three modules ready to apply for:
* display catalog's categories
* display list of manufacturers
* presentation of the products from particular category/categories (module in Ajax technology)

Yesterday evening (15.09.09) a bug in our DJ-Catalog component was found - SQL/bsql Injection Multiple Vulnerability.
The issue is now fixed.

16.10.2009 - New UPDATE!
Several bugs reported by users *thank you for letting us know about them!* where fixed and DJ-Catalog is now in 1.0.2beta phase.
Soon we'll release the search functionality and maybe something more...

I cannot recommend this due to it's unpredictable nature. If displaying DJ Catalog anywhere but on the FrontPage, it cannot display more than 10 items, regardless of settings in Parameters. Also, only Super Administrators can edit Parameters, Administrator level cannot. English and another language are mixed together in settings. DJ Catalog looked promising for items for our school auction, but we will now have to abandon it's use. I tried the newest version but problems persist. There are other problems that could also be listed.

A really good extension for a simple catalog !
I have recently made a joomfish and a search plugins, they should be available with the next release. If one of you need it (uncorrected by the component developer), just ask (PM).

This extension is simple and useful but i'm missing search plugin. Catalogue should be searchable.

It is simple to use, it looks good, the frontpage module is simply gorgeous. I used it to show pictures and sculptures of an artist. It helps you to save a lot of time because it resizes automatically the images for a clean layout and has a nice "blog view" of items. No more time spent with html! Hope to see soon a definitive version!

I use it for two months and i;m very happy. It is very nice, clean and usefull component. What You see on demo is half that it can look on Your site.
