I love the potential of this component. Currently have it installed on my social networking site. It is a little buggy and needs to be further developed in the following ways:
Display page – should include photos for each entry w/ a default image for entries that don’t have photos
There’s a problem with the Google Map – it’s pre-set to Romania; Developers should be able to set the map focus on the back-end as with other extensions that contain Google Maps.
Entries should be sortable by location type – right now they all load on the page in the order they were entered.
Zip code should display after city and state instead of after street address.
It’d be great to have a YouTube plug-in so people can post video.
Location Types – on back-end, developer should be able to re-order. Right now, Location types load in out of order and do not self-alphabetize. Ugh!
Developer should have the option of allowing multiple authors for entries.
Also needs import/export option to pull in tab-delimited data.
Hopefully, these changes will come soon.... Pretty please.

Location tools are great for businesses that have many locations. However entering Many Locations manually is a tedious task. Until this has some sort of import/export tool it will remain only useful to sites with few locations, which would not need such an extension, or for sites where users can add locations. Also, without a demo it is really hard to see what it can do without having to take the time to install it and test it out.

This is nice flexible solution for setting up different type of profiles ie clubs, restaurants etc like a directory. Its still in beta but hopefully many small issues will be solved and then It can be a really nice flexible solution for many Joomla users. Hope that the categorisation will be improved and also that a module that can support to make it more flexible for showing different user types for different section/categories in Joomla core.. Great idea and looking forward for future versions!

You did well creating this component. I would like it though if I could put html into where the map bubble is (which displays the state or country), tried it and it changes it from a link (using html) to normal text. If that could be fixed, it would be more usable for my needs. But you did good, it even has a upload photos function. Cheers Josh Lewis.
