But, one most important thing. Google spiders cannot find URLs in source code.
So, if you use this extension for Web links collection, it is contradicting all purpose for Google and SEO.
For instance if you have a link "Friends", there you want help your friends with logo and URL to help them get better listings at Google.
Regarding styling. It is very easy to style extension. Just don´t think ordinary way.
Yes, you are correct, I will keep improving it once I have time.
It seems that the image-path setting has no effect - the images must always be placed in images/stories.
Also it would be nice if the images were centered, not just aligned to the left.

I think you probably created menu items to build new web pages so you need to set image-path when you add menu item or change attribute for it.
You can simply select "no" for "Use CSS" from parameters panel and use your own CSS style.

Joomla! is in need of a more advanced links component. I hope the dev take this one to the limit. I will gladly play test dummy for any updates to this extension. We need a decent links extension and this may be the start of exactly that.

This isn't much better.
It is not very pretty, you can't upload images on the back side, it doesn't autoscale images on the front side, it doesn't work with SH404SEF, it doesn't display short descriptions, you have pick out category images or you'll get an image not found error, you have to input category descriptions or you'll see [cat_desc] displayed on front page..
Basically, it is the core Joomla weblinks with the ability to link a logo to it.
Installed, spent 10 minutes configuring it, created 3 categories and 3 links in each category, saw how bad it looked, uninstalled.

Actually, The core function of this component/module is to provide the ability to put the logo for link as you mentioned cause I got this trouble last year when I coded a Joomla website, So I think it is a problem which other designers or developers are facing now, it is the most important reason why I would like to release it for the public in here.
For further functions, I will keep improving it and also hope you guys tell me by email or leaving comments if get any errors or bugs.
