Yes, neat and simple, just fit to my needs. Good job, indeed.
Yet, I can't set my own custom logo, I mean button. (Or, perhaps, logo and button are 2 diferent things in this module's configuration...!?) Did put the .gif's name in the "Paypal button image" field, uploaded the file/image into images folder, -nothing shows up... Uploaded in images/stories/ too, uploaded in module's path too, uploaded in module's path/tmpl too, ...the same, nothing shows.
Tryed then, each and every possible path way for "Company Logo URL" field, and all combinations..., --failed, too
OK, question is: What are the settings for a custom button?
Another issue regards the "Email:" address in the "LOG IN TO PAYPAL" section of the form. I really don't understand how does that field get the same address as the recipient's address. It looks like the beneficiary of the payment, is one and the same as the payer!!! How does this come?
So, next question, is there can be any way to set some generically default address for the payer in the "LOG IN TO PAYPAL" field, such as "fill-in@youremail.address", or so...
Thanks for reading.

I like this module a lot. Very easy to setup, very direct. However, one minor tweak I would suggest: Change the short php tags (ince the server will not recognize the start of the PHP code. I just spent 45 minutes trying to figure out why my page wouldn't load and it was because of this. But other than that, awesome module!

Hi Carlos, just had a look at the code but couldn't find what you have reported. Would you mind contacting me directly through the support forum on my site http://software.albonico.ch/phpBB ? Thanks a lot for the positive review!

Works well thanks. Simple to use, great that you can add a recommended donation amount in the field and still allow a choice whether it can be changed. This means you can allow people a choice to donate more or less.
The return url fields are neat too, so you can send the successful and unsuccessful transactions to different pages to give them each their own message.

This is a good module but it wasn't necessarily customizable but it is simple. It didn't allow me to add a module suffix like most do. I had to add this snippet of code to the mod_simplepaypal.xml.
other than that small hurdle it's a great module.

Hi Alaoa, the setting you mention has been added to the module and will be released (along with other minor adjustments) in a couple of days. Thanks for your input!

Having tried a few of the native 1.5 donation modules, I found this one to be the best suited for my site needs.
I required more than just a paypal button, and the editable parameters in this module such as enabling successful and failed pages for the donation, in addition to a editable area for an introduction to the donation. In addition for the end user to choose their own amounts and currency.
I have already recommended this great module to associates.

Excellent Module that does what ist should! It was simple to configure and even some personalization is possible.
I tried some other donation modules but this was the best free one in my opinion. Thanks for your nice work :)

What can I say... I was not hopeful on trying this, but after some little bits of playing around with it. I would reccommend it to anyone. It's simple and does exactly what it says. SimplePayPal!
