Great solution for anybody who wants to give an instant quotes to customers.

It is very simple to use this component. Basically, create categories; create a list of your products/services with a default price range. Then write the questions and create the options that users can choose from. The final price of the selected service is based on the default price and then modified by the customers requirements.

+Added missing translations into the language files
+Few code modifications to support JoomFish multilingual extension
+New config parameter. Admin can set to show a quote on the website after the quote form is submitted
+New config parameter. It is possible to set whether an email will be sent to the client or not
+There can be more questions with the same title stored in the database
+Last name is a mandatory field and cannot be set to hidden on the form
+If set 'Send quote by email' to No in configuration, then no email field is displayed on the form

I’m really disappointed in this module. No fixes since 2010, shame that its even on this site. It’s got potential but its not finished.
Only listView, no radiobutton or selectionbuttons. Also the customer cant even see the actual price of his/her selection until sending mail. Hope profinvent will finish this module soon. Even the free Module “Cost Calculator” gives you more functionality then this.

The component could be a handy solution for companies or individuals who do not want to show the prices to the public or to competitors and want to keep the customers contact details. This component is all you need if you just want to show a product's price range based on the customer's preferences. To avoid any dissapointments please try the demo before purchasing.
The quote details could be displayed on the screen or sent by email.
Nice module. However, would really like to see quotes that are viewable online real-time and not just by email.
Unfortunately, I am really disappointed in the component.
I took a chance by paying for it after going through their online demo of the component which seemed to be missing some functionality but only because viewers can edit the content. But no, what you see online is in fact what you get!
The component is really just a multi level form with behind the scene calculations. Your prospective clients can’t even see the quote dynamically as they are building it? Only you see it when they are done filling out the form and send it. Note that I couldn’t even get that far without turning off my RsSEO URL rewriting cause they only support Joomla SEF ... This should be flagged as a technical requirement from the start!
To add to this, you can’t add a “quantity” field to the calculations. So if you offer a product in which a prospect can buy many, you can only ask them how many they want in ranges through their only available control type which is the “dropdown list”!
I hope to see some significant improvements in the short term caus I will admit that this general idea is good.

As a brand new component... I think that it was brought to market at the right point in it's development.
As the demo will show, it can do! There are no bugs that I have encountered. The features of the product are said to be added to over time (and are included in Free Upgrades to my knowledge)
