You can now re-send a card from the admin panel.
You can give your customers a discount on a regular gift card price.
You can setup the plugin to give a custom card amount, the customer choose what is the amount he or she want to give (between a set of value)
We have now the choice to put a expiration date, the purchase date, both or none.

How it works?
Let's start with the users / purchasers of gift certificates on your website. Nothing is simpler. The transaction is done online, without waiting for delivery, whether you have an online store or not. Your customers can obtain a gift certificate from your company in 4 easy steps:
Choose a certificate template by clicking on the image of their choice.
Customize the gift certificate: select the amount to give, write a message, etc ...
Choose whether you want to receive the certificate by email to print or send it directly to the recipient.
Preview the certificate and pay online by credit card or Paypal. It's easy!
After the payment, the user or recipient (customer's choice) will receive an email with the gift certificates as an image ready to print or save. The certificate will include a number or a unique bar code (administrator's choice )to be used to control its use, and all this is done securely.
Your customers can choose from as many gift certificate templates as you want because you have complete control over the image files you want to integrate. The language files and most of the gift certificates' format parameters can also be modified. You can also determine as many amounts to select from as you want.

I purchased the component with not so high expectations. The component is awesome the support is better than top notch. If you need to sell gift cards then you need to purchase this one. I had needed custom work done he was right there to help with every thing never once did he complain I highly recommend this component and like i said greatest support i have ever received for a joomla component

I ran into a issue and emailed support. Bill got back to me right quick and was able to support the GC component on the weekend now less.

I was looking for a way that my customers could buy a gift certificate from my website. I don't have a webshop. And this plugin was everything I was looking for. Easy to set up, easy to manage. At first I had some minor issues but after contacting the support it was soveld very quickly.

My client asked about online gift certificates, and KO Custom Gift Card made the process painless. The result is very slick, and you don't have to mess around with an e-commerce component if you don't need a web shop (though it does integrate with redShop, VirtueMart etc.) I had a few questions and they were promptly answered in the support forums. Highly recommended!

this is a unique product (one that took a long time to find). I had a unusual need that wasn't 'out the box' and the support to make it work was/is exceptional and not far off realtime.
I rarely leave feedback but for this component and after sales, I made an exception.
As a complete 'newbie' I was a little apprehensive about this but the component works just as displayed in demo, and justifies the cost.
I had an initial integration problem and contacted the developer, who was amazing. He took my site admin details and ftp and within hours had it configured, tested and problem resolved.
Highly recommended, after sales is important to anyone but to a 'newbie' priceless!

This plug-in is simple and easy to install, but more importantly, the developer, Bill, is fantastic and easy to work with. He provided excellent support and even helped debug code that wasn't his own. I work with many commercial developers, large and small, and Bill was just a pleasure. With his help, I was able to integrate the plug-in functionality AND look and feel into our own branded user experience. We run a website for the third largest tourist destination in the third largest city in the United States. Bill, thank you so much. You have been fantastic, and I wish you the best of luck. I have some ideas for future enhancements, and hope you will consider them. But this product, as it stands, is still awesome today.
