I just upgraded my membership package and I must say it was incredibly straight forward and quick to install and with the list of queries I had on the back of that, all were answered in the most readily, professional and detailed way possible. Just superb from product to support!!

I tried ALL the membership extensions for joomla, and none of them offer a full feature set like OSE does. My site is quite complex with alot of other components going on and I had a small problem with a conflicting app at first and their support was excellent and fixed the other app to make it compatible. Now that's support that goes above and beyond the call of duty! If you want a membership app that can do it all, looks great, is easy to use, and can grow with your site in the future, OSE is what you are looking for.

The component works very well but need some customizations to fit your needs.

The tech support is simply awesome, i should say incredible !!
Tickets are answered sometimes in minutes (!) (and i am in Japan, totally different timezone)
Everything i wanted to do with the component was made possible by the support team.
I really recommend it ;)

I've been developing with Joomla for 6+ years and haven't yet experienced this level of support. Great component too! Haven't experienced a bug yet.

Helix and his team are amazing. They developed a superb software for memberships. I was never before so excited about a piece of software. So many features and the documentation how to setup a paypal account so simple. If you buy this product believe me you wont regret it. The main reason that you wont regret it is because the SUPPORT is amazing. They will reply to any problems you have in matter of minutes and they will NOT give up until they fix it.

Now I'm very long a member and I can say that I've never regretted it. If there is just a very small problem, the support is caring and is very fast. I'm really very positive surprised that this company is meeting every desire. And I like it very much that the customers are here not just customers, they are more than that. Everything was going right and very good. This was the reason why I would everytime renew my membership and this is also the reason why I'm going to subsribe me for another membership plans, too. I can't say this same words to another company which is providing joomla extensions, because we see everytime that there is anything not OK. I'm prefering this extension everybody, who want to buy it. Do not hesitate to subscribe, you will see it =] for existing members there is a change to get coupon codes with reduced prices, too!

Nun bin ich schon sehr lange Mitglied bei OSE und ich habe es wirklich bis jetzt noch nie bereut dort Mitglied zu sein. (Man bezahlt den Support nicht die Extension, der Zugang zur Extension ist allerdings dadurch gehindert, das man den Support zahlen muss um es überhaupt runterlanden zu können, kompliziert ich weiss =D ) Der Support ist klasse, schnell und kümmert sich um jede Angelegenheit, auch wenn es sich hierbei nur um etwas Kleines handelt. Was ich ebenfalls bemerkt habe, dass am Support Desk auch keine Laien arbeiten sondern wirklich ein professionelles Team dahinter steckt. Genauso bin ich auch sehr positive überrascht, dass dieses Unternehmen die Wünsche der Kunden wirklich von den Lippen abliest und sich auch sonst um alles kümmert. Das gibt es wirklich nicht überall. Was vielleicht noch zu sagen ist, dass die Extension wirklich sehr gut programmiert worden ist und auch fehlerfrei funktioniert. Ist ja anscheinend nicht selbstverständlich bei Joomla Extensions =‘D Was vielleicht den einen oder anderen stören kann, ist das alles auf Englisch ist und die deutschen Sprachdateien maschinell übersetzt worden sind, sodass man am Anfang vll. denkt „WTF? Was soll das jetzt schon wieder heißen?“ Aber das ist ehrlich gesagt wirklich das geringste Problem. Ich denke eigentlich auch meine abgeänderte korrekte deutsche Sprachdatei denen zur Verfügung zu stellen, dann haben es auch deutsche Mitglieder bei OSE einfacher =]
Ich würde diese Joomla Extension jedem weiter empfehlen. Also zögert nicht rum ;) klare Kaufempfehlung! Für bestehende Kunden gibt es übrigens auch reduzierte Angebote. =D

This is an outstanding membership and content control system. It's easy to implement and extremely well documented.

It's also got support that is truly as good as any you are likely to experience. Need to know something? Ask How Do I Get This to Do That? Need something special? Not only do you get an answer, often the same day but they'll explain exactly how to do what you need to do.

Have a problem or confused? They'll often fix the issue on your site if you want.

And the best part? No hands held out for exorbitant fees to get their component to work, unlike some I've dealt with.

Control of memberships, payment systems and there are plenty to select, and setup is easy.

Managing access to articles, components and menu items is as straight forward as it comes. You'll love it's simplicity.
The component has been updated so it's simple to install and has all the "pieces" loaded and ready to use.

Conversion was a snap, they make it sooooo easy to set up existing members and transfer over accounts. With integration to CB, it's seamless and simple to use either CB to set up memberships or OSE.

What I really like is their openness to suggested improvements and they are already working on the next release...

Cons? Well, not much, it takes working with to figure out some of the nuances of the way it handles presenting membership options but not bad, at some point, even their excellent documentation could not possibly cover every goofy thing we want to do with our memberships...

Having worked now with 4 major system, I can say this is the easiest to use and a great blend of capabilities. Well worth a solid look if you are replacing an old system or installing a new one.

I think you'll find it's a great solution that should handle all but the most convoluted requirements.

The software is very good and easy to use, implementation easy, and the documentation is very good. I have had reason to ask for support today and the OSE team has been very supportive and very FAST. My overall impression is that this group is highly professional and I feel in safe hands.

I had an older version (Joomla V1.5) that I had limited success with. My site took a nose dive from another component that I loaded (not OpenSource-Excellence) and since I needed to upgrade from Joomla V1.6 to 1.7, I needed some additional features that my last site didn't have. I went back to OSE and upgraded my component, but had some issues that were related to me. I received an email from the support group that they saw my new purchase and asked if they could be of some assistance getting the product loaded. I created a temporary admin user for them and went to bed. First thing the next morning I had another email saying everything went without a flaw and it was up and running!

Not only has their support services been far more customer related than any other company I have dealt with, but very timely.

Now I have been bragging about their support and customer service, now the product... I have had zero issues getting everything up and going. I have about twelve different membership plans. Some that are free, while others cost my vistors a bit of money. Each membership plan was so easy to set up and publish. You can feel at ease when you purchase the product for the first time and when you ever want to upgrade a support package, they cut their charges by aprox. 75%. WOW !!!

These guys should be your first choice for all of your website's structural needs.

I bought this component for use with Mosets Tree in August of last year. At that time it was 4.4.x. It was alright, not very impressed. Prior to my account expiring in August of this year, I downloaded version 5.0.16, but did not have time to update my site until last week. Boy, was I in for a surprise.

The team at OSE really worked hard to have a great addon to Joomla and MT. It was easy to update and easy to use. Everything is customizable -- from the coupons to outgoing e-mail notifications. It took me no more than 10 minutes or so to integrate with Authorize.net.

Wishlist? None at the moment -- still playing with it. So far, I am a very happy camper.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a billing system for Mosets.

As a beginner in Joomla I can say that this component is great for me. What I need is in here and the documentation is explaining everything step by step.
Moreover, the management team responded rapidly to my questions. And I have had many of them :) Great support.

Really an amazing component, if you are looking for a way to sell memberships to your site, this is the way to go. Tons of features, and for everything that it does the integration is amazing. Better than the component itself is the service provided by support. Tickets are always answered within the day, and often times suggestions are integrated into the newer versions. Updates and improvements to the component are constant and bugs are fixed very quickly.

One thing to be aware of: if you're into making lots of customized modifications it might be a little tricky. I've had trouble trying to go in and make tweeks myself, as much of this is written in javascript and makes use of json strings which can be difficult to trackdown.

The best, most fully featured membership purchasing component you will find.

The component is very powerful but easy to use if you take the time to read the very complete documentation.

Support team is awesome, very professional and reactive. They fix our little issues very quickly.

Team answers to questions and problems immediately

This is a huge component with many nooks and crannies. I underestimated it and thought that I could just "install and go" a few days before my company's website went live. Not the case.

At the beginning of the weekend, I sent a frantic message to OSE and requested assistance, explaining the time-sensitive nature of my situation. And despite the fact that this company's employees don't work on weekends, Helix and his team came to the rescue. Over the past few days, every single issue has been resolved.

This is an amazing component, matched wonderfully with the accompanying level of customer service.

And for those concerned about the cost, don't worry. It is well worth it.

After trying other Membership components, this has been the best of the best. It works perfectly right out of the gate. You can easily integrate it with a lot of third party extensions. It's very customizable as well. Given all the features, you'd expect to pay monthly for this, but it's just a low yearly fee.
The best part of all, is their service. They are incredibly kind. They are willing to help you with any issue. And they are very fast.

OSE have really thought of everything for people trying to run a membership site. I used AEC for sometime, but have found OSE to have better documentation and a cleaner feel in configuration and implementation.

One of the most important aspects about this software is flow, ESPECIALLY when it comes to how your customer buys from your site. I find that OSE Membership has the best flow of all the membership components out there, it's just plain simple for the customer to buy a membership using the software.

Configuration is very easy as well. I was able to do it without the documentation but if you need it it is FULLY documented leaving no questions as to what you need to do.

And don't get me started on support. I had 2 glitches that I could not quite get a handle on, and the OSE Membership folks took care of me RIGHT away and solved my problems.

I am now on my way to earning money with my membership site!

I am a 61 year old grandmother and was able to install this extension with ease. I caused an error in installing it and the OSE team fixed it for me in less than 24 hours and they were actually friendly about it. I had used another membership extension before this that was so complex, it never worked properly - getting support for it was worse than getting a root canal.

First of all, six stars for customer support. Both prompt and insightful. At a very attractive price point, this is a brilliantly conceived tool for online management of an association or club, including seamlessly integrated e-commerce capabilities. Too much customization has to be done in the PHP files, but the developers are working hard to improve that. Plays nice with lots of other major components. Has the most comprehensive user-friendly payment gateway I have ever seen. If your client is taking in lots of paid registrations or subscriptions, you really must also buy the companion component OSE Reporter. Makes life so nice for the accounting people who have to reconcile e-commerce orders against actual credit card payments. Setting up individual member lists and payment plans is simple and intuitive. The next-gen component is coming in December, and I can't wait to upgrade. OSE has enthusiastically embraced our suggestions for how to simplify things for the end user. They "get it" that the end user is king. The minor issues we had to overcome were well worth it and then some.
