This extension works well for single items but doesn't work with a cart. Maybe that should have been made clearer in the description.
Contrary to the other reviews I've have nothing but praise for the email communication from the developer.
Nicely coded and easy to use. Worth looking at for selling individual items.

First time around I had trouble with this - however I think it was an error on my end (the paypal button was created with the secondary username).
I contacted the author and received a copy of the new upcoming version of the component and the button creator within a day.
After figuring out that the button id I was using was causing my problems, I recreated the button, plugged in the HTML (have not tried the button generator), and on the first re-test, everything worked perfect.
I receive the email I defined in the "messages" section and I could successfully login using the paypal generated username and password.
I then cancelled my membership in paypal, logged out of the website, and my account was successfully blocked.

I bought this component a couple months ago. It would not work no matter what I tried. So, I contacted the developer through their website. I have never heard back even after several attempts to get into touch with them. Needless to say I am very upset that I paid for something that does not work, they are not available to fix it and won't even return my emails, and since they won't return my communication attempts I cannot even get my money back. Don't get it.

On first appearance this appeared to be a well designed native J1.5 extension, installation was OK. However on starting to test it with the Paypal Sandbox, it was evident that the bug reported by the reviewer on 16 April still exists. The author's test site referred to in the documentation does not appear to exist and there is no support forum. These defects are serious as testing of the Paypal IPN interface is critical for e-delivery - this shoul have been throughly tested before the developer started selling the component.
IMO this component is not ready for depolyment on a live site.

Owner's reply
As stated in the guide the testing process is hooked up to an easier to use third party submission script. Not to Paypals sandbox. That is why emails do not get delivered. It expects the external submission.
