There are many Joomla configurations out there and an oversight on our side is not unlikely. We can only make our software better thanks to your feedback. We're more than happy to make this work for you.
However this did not put me off at first so I downloaded the extention anyway to do a few more tests..... it didn't take long for me to decide to un-install and keep looking.
Sorry to hear that you had troubles with the extension, especially since it could have been what you are looking for.

Being in Canada, I can't imagine that it would handle our complicated tax system!
I wish you well with development, but won't be risking an install.
I admit, the demo site isn't always functioning right. We need to reset it from time to time but unfortunately that doesn't happen automatically yet.
By the way we do have Canadian customers and are now quite familiar with the GST, PST and HST acronyms.

Much more than just a shopping cart it is truly a Web Shop capable of handling my needs with plenty of room to grow. Support is excellent as well and they were right there to answer my concerns.

A little complicated install for a novice.
