I use Aceshop already about 3 months.Excellent Extensions, especially if to take into account a cost. Best support i ever seen.

After spending a couple of weeks setting up VM2 (great software), I decided to take a look at AceShop to see how they compared in a real working environment. I managed to migrate VM2 to AceShop in a day using the built in migration script. I kept VM2 until I was 100% sure it was worth the change. I have a fairly complex site as I am using multiple shopper groups, multiple pricing options and complex delivery options over a select group of Euro countries. This system is one of the best I've ever seen. If you want an ecommerce system that 100% works and gives the customer a very clear, fast and slick shopping experience, I would reccomend AceShop.

I was a bit nervous about using this system because it is basically OpenCart running inside AceShop which is a wrapper. There was no need, it integrates like a glove with very little styling changes needed via CSS.

Give it a try...

I paid $58 for this extension with the 6 months support and wish I hadn't bothered.

I installed Aceshop and immediately found that it had damaged the coding within my template. Whats more, Joomla would now not let me uninstall the damaged template. When I contacted support I was told to 'Go and read the documentation'. Not really the response I expected for $58.

Judging by the reviews of Aceshop it seems to be a good ecommerce solution on most sites, but I would now be very, very wary of installing Aceshop on any other sites.

I needed a replacement for virtuemart and gave this extension a try.

It integrates opencart into my joomla 2.54 sites.

I find the integration pretty seemless. The Aceshop guys have done a great job and I find acecart/opencart much easier to use than virtuemart. Everything just works the way it should.

Out of the box it has some great tools such as reward points and affiliate functionality.

There is some downside but I find in comparison to the headaches I have had trying to upgrade my virtuemart 2 accounts they pale in comparison.

I haven't been able to get any of the opencart themes to work, Acecart have created a bunch of their own bundled with the download to help with this.installing opencart bought or free modules is not that straight forward sometimes. Many work perfectly but some don't.

Saying that I have found the support from the acecart guys to be very good. I always get a response within a reasonable timeframe and they have fixed the minor things that I have asked them to. They even changed one of their modules for me without any charge.

Overall I find it excellent and it has really saved my bacon. I still can't update my virtuemart sites without losing all of my setup so I look like having to redo them from scratch. I'll be changing them to acecart as well for sure.

To be honest, I've never buy any plugin before. But the situation force me to buy a plugin for shopping cart. After looked for several shopping cart, I decided to buy this AceShop cart. And you know what? I'm glad I bought it.

it has all the features that i want, and even more. It was easy to install with no error. And the support is superb. It is really a nice experience for someone like me who never buy any plugin before.

I love AceShop!! It allows for lots of flexibility!

The only reason I'm giving it a "good" rating, instead of an "excellent" rating is because I wish that the flexibility was already built into it, with the ability to turn more options on/off. Instead, I would just submit a support ticket with the needed change...and within 1-2 days, they would send me back an extension to install through the store with the change I needed!

The help desk people are WONDERFUL to work with!!

I was looking for an e-commerce program that fit what I need. I have used VM for other projects and looked there first. It is not as user friendly as it used to be. I looked at Redshop and Magento and did a lot of testing on all the different cart platforms. When I found Opencart,it fit my needs better than the rest. I have always built my sites and client sites in Joomla and Aceshop bridges the gap between OC and Joomla. It really gives me the flexibility of Joomla with the power of Opencart. I also had a prob with installing a few OC modules, put in a ticket and had it solved really quickly. This is one of the first subs I paid for and I do feel content with the purchase knowing if I need support, it is there for me until the problem is solved.

I do not typically appreciate components that connect other open-source systems to Joomla, because it always feels forced and typically contains a host of issues.

This has not been my experience with AceShop. It worked out of the box. I got an OpenCart Extension installed quickly. It looks good and works well!

After trying a few other Shopping Cart Extensions, none were able to deliver on what I needed. AceShop did. Thank you!

I've switched from a Virtuemart store to an AceShop store, and it was quite simple and relatively trouble-free. I did have some trouble with adding 3rd party extensions for OpenCart (which is the software this component is based on) but the AceShop customer support people tweaked the code for the extension so it worked in AceShop. To me, that's great customer service and I highly recommend their product.

this piece of software gives almost all the possibilities of opencart as a joomla comfort. I am a newbee to carts but aceshop made it easy to convert my site into a virtual market. Turkish Sanalpos system integration is the best part for me besides all ather payment gateways.

You can imagine how pleased I got when I found out that I could combine my favorite CMS with my favourite shopping cart.
When I ran into some problem with the Payson payment module, the support team helped me to solve the problem.

I was a little worried about paying so much for an extension but I took a chance and I couldn't be happier. The shop integrated perfectly with Paypal Pro, easy to setup, and very professional looking.

What's even more impressive is the "SUPPORT". I had several issues (and some questions) and they were addressed immediately.

YOU WON'T GO WRONG WITH ACESHOP.

I have now built 2 sites in the last month using AceShop. Although I had to find a few solutions to some issues on the Opencart forum the sites work well and have more features than most I have used.

The AceShop support response was timely and accurate.

I hope to see the development of this component continue as it is a good solution for anyone looking for a solid, user friendly eCommerce solution.

This looks like it would be a good program, but it didn't work for me straight out of the box which is what I needed after having spent way too much time on problems with Virtuemart. I didn't have time to deal w/ the issue on AceShop that freezes the user registration process. I would have been more than happy to just grab the solution from their forum, but their website also reported errors when trying to look things up.

In the end, after paying for this one praying their "no-refund" policy meant they had a working product.... I was wrong

I have been building a site with AceShop for the last two weeks or so (migrating from another system) and although I keep on running into small little hiccups (mainly due to things I want that is not directly supported) the support from the team has been excellent.

My queries and questions have been answered within a day or so with a solution or series of possible options, and a few times they even did code updates for me on third party modules.

I have tested 5 or 6 different options before settling on this option, and I am really glad I did. I understand the shortcomings and custom code required, and I also understand why it can hardly ever be different when your extension modules rely heavily on third party coders.

The fact is that it works perfectly out of the box, AND has the ability to expand and shape to exactly what you want it to do, if you are spend some time on it.

The shop now has 11,000 products in it and seems to work just fine, and that is all I need!

Having always used Virtuemart just because it was the best cart I could find for Joomla, when this came along I thought I would try it. Great move. Worked straight out of the box, looked great, was simple to use, and had a whole swag of extra features. I like the VQMod - if you need to update the cart later, it doesn't modify the core files.

I now use it with ACESEF and this is an improvement on the SH404 I was using too. It is much quicker with my large product base.

The team at AceSHop were very helpful. They made amendments for me for free for a number of extensions from OpenCart to fit in nicely with AceShop and Joomla too.

Overall very happy with this cart and the support.

I have looked everywhere for a good working shop cart component. For a balloon head like me its a bit of a learning curve, so it took me longer to get my head around the structure and administration. I had some issues to begin with, but support was very helpful, even though I was being a bit of an arse at times, they were very patient. All the issues I had was because of Cache problems with Firefox and IE. So overal this product is well worth getting. I will be using Aceshop for all my shopcarts.

I have been very happy with Aceshop...the customer service has been fantastic...the component offers a lot over versatility. It's easy to use...and a lot to offer for those who are advanced.

The best piece of extension for joomla I ever met and support, what to say, unique.
Recommend to everyone.
