I have only been using Mijoshop a short time.
I got it to fit a clients need for many variables with sizes colours lengths etc...
but being new to opencart had a few teething issues the support team that comes with Mijoshop has made the whole thing a breeze.
My use of this will now be in all my online shops and my support for the future development of Mijoshop will definitely continue.

I use Joomla and Virtuemart for a couple of years and have always been in trouble with our German rules. The ecommerce laws are very strict here in Germany but MijoShop/OpenCart offers options to activate these rules very easy. All the tax rules, price options, registration and checkout fields etc. are compatible with our laws!!
I must also thank the support team (es. Denis) for guiding me in all of this process. I'm about to lunch my first Mijoshop site with just 4 days of work, amazing!!

We purchased this extension and found it lacking in features and experienced several bugs.

Mijoshop has turned out to be great so far. It installed without problem and I have applied an update easily without errors. It used my Joomla template CSS brialliantly and I was able to easily override specific CSS using a custom.css file to fit my client's preferences.

I had a few problems transferring the site from my local MAMP set-up to live server. I found after transfer from my MAMP set-up to a Linux server that it had functionality problems. The Mijo support team simply reinstalled the component for me on the server which fixed it all.

The support via the Mijo ticket support system were very responsive and they typically replied within the hour. Brilliant.

Uploading 11k products into the MySQL server went without any serious hitches and Mijoshop picked it all up nicely.

I'm starting a new project and this will also feature a Mijoshop store. I have been pleasantly surprised to find template widgets (YooTheme) work easily in the products and with the categories so you can make it look quite integrated. Plus there's a host of (and some free) opencart vqmod files that are easy to install to adjust functionality.

Other than that, I have no reservations. Recommended.

This system claims itself as being native for joomla which is not true.

Even the users require an specific plugin.

The shop administrator and the way the templates are managed is completely unfriendly and although there are many features they are all imported from opencart, some will work and some won't.

This is not a native joomla component and has the limitations that implies.

The layour it pretty much the same for every shop using this system and not much customization is allowed, you will all have the exact same shop.

Sorry but this is miles away from Virtuemart 2 in customization and options.

We have been working with Mijoshop for sometime now and would like to say the support has been great! We were hesitant since they didn't have phone support, but they have proven to be very quick and realible with their responses. Mijoshop will definitely continue to gain our support.

Hi Thanks to mijosoft team..the mijoshop had some minor compatibility issue with opencart extension(maybe the original developers didn't expect it to run on joomla) but folks at mijosoft modified those extensions for me and gave me the file back!

now i have seamless integration of joomla and opencart..

I just wanted to give a huge thanks and thumbs up to the team at MijoSoft.

I recently started migrating from another cart to Mijoshop/MijoSEF for myself and a couple of my clients.

After subscribing I BOMBARDED them with tickets to get Opencart extensions working and for help with the migration. In the first day I probably opened 7 tickets or more.

The team has been very quick and responsive and effective in their porting and other help. During their support hours some of our tickets have been close to a live chat. I am so impress with the level and speed of support they have offered me so far. It really makes what was already pretty impressive software near unbeatable.

Mijoshop is great. They are regularly updating what is already a great product and support is fast and professional.

This is my first review but felt that it was thoroughly deserving and neccesary. After using virtuemart for several years I attempted to upgrade to virtuemart 2 and found nothing worked. The choice was to spend time hacking virtuemart or pay for a better product. I decided to try MijoShop and am so glad I did. I had the shop installed and virtuemart products and images migrated within a few hours. The only thing I need now is a shipping module for complicated shipping rates which I am confident I will find on the OpenCart extensions website. I had one query about coupons (which can be set for a certain product or category) and got a reply within 5 minutes. I would recommend this to anyone. Great extension. Great Support

I have tested this component and it seems Great!
For years, i have been using virtuemart, but i think mijishop is much better.
It brings opencart power to your joomla site.

I am very new to Joomla so am at the start of a very steep learning curve. I have become dissallusioned with other shopping carts available both hosted and self hosted.
Mijo has all the functionality you would expect as standard in a modern shopping cart.
But the best part is the support. I am new to Joomla and my lack of knowledge and experience showed when installing, both Joomla and Mijo, but thanks to the speedy and helpul support at Mijo I am up and running.
The speed and accuracy of the support is better than I have experienced from any other shopping cart, and I have tried a lot, and I am currently running 2 online shops, one with Actinic and one with EKM powershop. Mijo support beats both of these hands down.

First off, I'm a graphic designer who DOES website design because that's where my customers need me the most. I'm not a coder, programmer and hate complicated processes that take away from designing.

I've used two shopping carts prior to MijoShop and was left with very little success. One was overpriced and the second one was a "big name" brand both were difficult to use and NOT user friendly in the least.

I found MijoShop by accident and boy was I ever amazed. Not only was it easy to install, its EXTREMELY user friendly to use. Its very configurable, NOT complicated and NOT a pain in the butt like my prior experiences with two other shopping carts.

I now no longer dread getting a shopping cart client, in fact I have two currently and BOTH are extremely easy to set up.

My only regret is not knowing about this wonderful MijoSoft company prior to this month. Thanks guys!! I love the shopping cart and am extremely excited to be using it for my clients websites.

Mijo Shop is a very good implementation of Open Cart in Joomla. Although I am not a very big fan of Open Cart itself yet, I like VM a lot more since I have dealt with it for quite some time. But I needed it for a few projects and I am slowly learning Open Cart. The support had been very good, and Mijosoft has been quick to make third party extensions compatible with mijoshop. Every upgrade gets a little better. The only prblem I have with opencart is you get nickel and dimed for all the extensions that are usually already existing with other carts. But the trade off is opencart does have a few other big ticket options that other carts dont have. But that's opencart, mijoshop as itself couldn't be better and is the best option for a hybrid Joomla/opencart shop. I highly recommend it.

I changed from VM to Mijoshop and i´m very satisfied. The opencart solution is very customizeable and the Mijosoft developers are very kind and fast by working on tickets. There is also a german localisation extension to realize german law issues in the shop at the open cart extension library.

It is now two months since we are using MijoShop and so far, we are adding it to our three company websites for our own ecommerce needs and also we are offering multi-store features for our customers.

We can say that we are entirely satisfied with this extension and all its features, additionally, the support team, including Denis, Bilal and Nur are very friendly, they offer very quick support and provide assistance for any technical issue in a very short delay (even if there is any time difference).

Our first website will soon be operational and it is definitely thank to their team that we have been able to respect our deadlines and we'll definitely continue to support them so that they can continue the development. Thanks again guys.

After going from Joomla to Drupal, trying Wordpress, I eventually came back to my old love, Joomla. I needed a shopping cart and I looked into several ones and choose for MijoShop. This was a perfect choice. I am having such a great experience with MijoShop. The support team gives very personalized support. Their ticket system works very well. They even helped me deciding on 3rd party extensions. Such a wonderful service and that within a very short time frame, even though they're in Turkey.

The product itself is easy to install and based on OpenCart. You have to study OpenCart but that wasn't difficult at all. There are tons id extensions, for most what you want. Free or Commercial.

I strongly recommend this product.

I tested several shopping cart components. Finaly...i found the ultimate one ! I may assert without doubt that mijoshop is the best of all. The backend shop is intuitive and easily parametrable. The on-line support is incredibly effective and fast. I recommend without hesitating this component.

Perhaps it's because it's an extension of OpenCart, or perhaps it is because the developer(s) planned the process for integrating it with Joomla. Whatever the case, I have tried and bemoaned so many others (no really...one review didn't even show up) but Mijo did a phenom job with this.

Okay, so you have to buy it but you get EVERYTHING for just $59 (2013). I have tried another that is just so convoluted out of the box and then you have to add a coupon to do free shipping, blah blah blah. Mijo -- install and you get everything.

Granted, I haven't gone through and created a site just yet but I'm very impressed so far. Great job!
