Fix in 2.0.5: security vulnerability of the component.
Fix in 2.0.6: link changes

New in 2.0 (for J1.0 and J1.5): +component, + router (J1.5 only), +languages, +storage of custom code into a database table too, integration of all Jumi extensions.

Fix in 2.1.0 beta3: security vulnerability of the component.

New in 2.1 (still beta): direct code including into Joomla! content, pdf rendering, clearing the code from RSS feeds, security filtering option, debug mode in a plugin and a module, etc., etc.

New version for J!1.6 is ready. There is a problem with the module, so Jumi plugin is converted from Content to System, so you can place jumi syntax wherever you want in the site. There are also problems with the i18n, probably it is an issue in the core.

Jan 18, 2013: New version for J!3.0 is ready!

Awesome extension. Very useful. One little annoying thing for the 2.5 install though...the SAVE button actually does the same as the SAVE and CLOSE button. Would be nice to have the SAVE button functionality so you can stay on the page...

Very practice, fast and easy to use for the people who like to insert their own little application without create a component. Just 2 remark, 1 : when an application is recorded, we return to the index page of the application, instead of to stay on the current work page; 2:I meet problems with some "systeme" plug-in.

I give 4 stars to this extension. I dont think anything is wrong with this extensions. It gets 4 stars because the recommended tips and tricks link is a hub for trojans. PLEASE DO NOT click that link. Your computer may get infected by trojans.

Extremely useful. In Joomla 2.5 a nasty little piece of code renders the backend almost unusable if you have more than 20 scripts. But the solution is not too hard to find (replace line 28 in admin.jumi.php by $option = JRequest::getCmd('option');)

Great work!

A lot of joomla users, i expect, is in it for the ease of site management that joomla offers. My client calls me and says "hey i would like a site with some webshop, image gallery and it should play video!" - i say no problem mister! - is tomorrow allright?

When a client calls and says "hey, i need a site where users can put in data and have i shown in a sortable list" i have to say "well... i need another couple of days to build a brand new site from bottom up, because my chosen CMS doesn't do special requests...

Well - thats a bit on the edge, but to be honest. I have been coding for many years and i can not work with that joomla MVC crap!! - Its SO complicated and there are WAY to many files and WAY to much work, to complete some jobs that often would have been done with just some php, mysql and a little jquery...

And here comes Jumi! - Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I am able to create my own little component handling my own little thing without any problems through Jumi. I can write code as i am used to, and interact with joomla, when i want to. Often i find myself writing a couple of scripts to solve a problem, in stead of searching for a component, that can be tweaked to "sort of" match my request!

Working with Jumi is wonderful, and even my more complex projects has become considerably easier to complete.

I have multiple issues with this not being compatible with the latest version of Joomla ... it should not state that it is compatible when it is not.

I used this extension to add some custom forms, I don't usually develop with Joomla but this extension proved to be very easy to use.
An excellent plugin that I absolutely recommend.

I am new to Joomla and often struggle with extension. Documentation is the big one for most extensions in my opinion (it is very coder/techie-centric...Jumi is no exception. It installed well and did appear to be working but I could never avoid an error on the output page in red and yellow.

I simply wanted to insert an automatic PHP year in the copyright information like so but the documentation didn't address such a simple use. I ended up using Sourcerer and did job in five minutes...although again the documentation for that is pretty poor. I am sure Jumi does work, there are plenty of reviews to qualify that, but as a newbie and a non-coder I lost over two hours time trying to do this simple little task.

We have been using Jumi for many years to our great pleasure. We used it very successfully for inserting links to pages and also direct PHP coding. Our experience was with Joomla 1.5.x. Two tumbs up.
With Joomla 1.7.3 the back-end is not fully functional and above 20 entries we have to use the MySQL tables to manage entries above 20. For people running Joomla 1.7.x that have this issue the work around is very simple to go the the _jumi table and manage it from there. When a fix for this is released I would really give it a two thumbs up, right now this issue makes it less functional for this release of Joomla 1.7.
