K2 Show Manager Icon Module

This module displays a K2 Icon on the topmenu of Joomla! backend. K2 Show Manager Icon is a short link to your K2 component Control Panel in Joomla Backend.
If you have set "Enable comment auto-publishing" in the K2 Configuration (K2/Parameters) to "no" and there are existing unpublished comments, this icon will display an info-button (changed icon) and the number of comments, that are waiting to become published.

Installation

  • Install this module with the Joomla Backend Installation Routine

  • navigate to Extensions/Modulemanager

  • here click ADMINISTRATOR!

  • edit the "K2 Show Manager Icon" module

  • in Editmode choose "menu" as moduleposition (Details->Position->menu)

  • in Editmode choose "0" as orderposition (Details->Order->0), the "K2 Show Manager Icon" should be on first position

  • enable the module

  • click on save

  • Now the new icon should be visible in the topmenu of Joomla Backend.
