- This extension requires registration to download.
Styling options in the plugin parameters allow for sizing of avatar, text size and color, as well as text and avatar alignment.
Note: Installation is via the Joomla! extensions installer and NOT the Community Builder plugin installer!
New final 1.5 version introduces new show/hide options for category view, section view and blog layout. "replace JAuthor" feature removed due to too many issues with different templates. Also fixed chrome/ie broken avatar issue.

Very happy with this extension. There was one specific thing I needed to do, and the support was amazingly fast and they helped me do what I wanted to do, and said they would include it in future releases. I wish all extensions came with this level of support. When I purchase commercial extensions one of the biggest things I consider the level of support from that company on their non commercial extensions. I give the plugin 5 stars and the support A++. Other developers should take a hint, because I will be looking for more extensions from them because of the support, and I will have no problem purchasing from them in the future. It's called customer service, and they know how to do it.
You know, I admire people who create such a big thing like Joomla in general. There are so many things to be implemented and so much code to be written until it nearly fits everyone's needs.
But then there are hundres of people who fill the small but still existing holes by spending their time on creating plugins with the size of ster, and activating it in the plugin manager is enough to make it work perfectly. And if you've got a problem, the support comes within minutes and is very idividual and friendly.
Folks, don't forget to donate from time to time. The value these guys bring to the Joomla world is far from minor.

This is one of the many needed extensions for a community builder site. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this great free plugin. It even has alignment features and feels quite configurable. I'm pleased to see that it is now joomla 1.7 compatible. Greatly appreciated!

I do not know how I wasnt able to find this sooner maybe I overlooked it during an extremely stressed out state but now that I found it, I couldnt be happier.
Only thing that would make this better as the last reviewer said is to allow include/excludes.

Check out the new version and new features added:
* Exclude authors
* Exclude categories
* Exclude sections
Clean and simple, nice layout, well done. However, plugin is missing a vital include/exclude feature. It is either ON or OFF. Period. If it's ON every single article is linked, including newsflash, quotes, whatever. The author seem to have a bit of a tude about fixing it and has turned off all comment on this much requested fix in his forum.

Regarding the feature you've requested: We already discussed that this is a good idea in the support forum and that it is slated for the next version of CB Author Plug. The next release of this FREE extension will include respecting the Joomla author settings.
This was just what I needed.It's so easy to use with the ability to customize 5 stars
