But how to do that? Easy - Login Redirect for Community Builder! Select a field from the profile. Map as many values from that field to specific URLs as you desire. Set up a default URL for users who don't have a value for that field or who have a value for which you don't have a specific page to show. Then, presto! As users log in to your site, they will automatically be redirected to the page you selected for them to see based on their selections in the profile field chosen.
Examples for how to use this component:
* Take users automatically to a page with news on their City, State, or Zip Code
* Take users automatically to a page with special offers from your store based on favorite type of music, books, clothing, etc.
* Take users directly to a discussion forum page for their specific religious preference.
* Set up a default login page for users that don't have a preference based on your chosen profile field, or who have a value for which you don't have a special page.
There are an unlimited number of uses for this component. The component is extremely easy to set up and use. The field chosen to control login can vary over time, so that as needed you can route users to different login pages.
This is such a great module which I had up and running in minutes. Simply add a new drop down field to community builder - use that field to create a user type and cose each user and then use this module to redirect each user type to a different page when they login.
