CB Profile Notifier

v2.1 Adds the capability to include any _comprofiler or _users field name as a placeholder in the notification message. Also adds the option to have an email sent upon registration initiation that contains all field data entered on the registration form. Finally, eliminates all uses of the $GLOBALS array left over from the 1.0 version.
v2.0 Joomla 1.5 native (tested on 1.5.9). 1.0 support ends, but older versions still downloadable.
v1.7 Adds the ability to enter multiple admin addresses.
v1.6 Minor bug fixes.
v1.5 Adds the ability to CC user's connections.
v1.4 Minor bug fixes.
v1.3 Corrects a problem with date comparisons and applies the suffix to notification emails (it had been inadvertently omitted).
v1.2 Corrects the XML version, which tripped up the CB installer.
v1.1 Fixes a strange bug with date field handling. For some unexplained reason, identical dates always tested as different.
Go – get it!!!
Needless to say, this was a minor irritant, but I was willing to do this as the articles were fairly important.
But no more!
Any changes, and I get an email informing me of the changes made, and by whom. Terrific!
MANY Thanks to the programmer for a simple but EXTREMELY useful extension.
1 minute install, 1 minute to alter some paramters, and Im good to go.
Recommended..
Within less than 10 minutes, I can make it run to my preference.
Thanks a lot for this great job.
I hope that the developer will continue the development to J1.5 native and even to J1.6.
Moreover, I think that this plugin should be a standard in CB.
I then set it to email to a special account for MMS Blog, which in turn I set up only viewable to me. Then set up a latest MMS Blog post module (for that specific category) made it only visible to me. And wooo woooo - I get up to the minute updates of customer activities and request.
Especially request, because I give them lots of options via their profiles - when they would like a product of mine they simple fill in that list of fields. CB Profile Notifier then emails MMS Blog with all the info and MMS Blog then displays the list of request nice and neat in a blog on my website.
I can then go to the requester profile and handle their order. I opted this versus checking individual email request via forms that they would submit...gives it a more natural flow.
Thanks for the rocking component. I will be hitting some donate buttons...
Peace Out
An extra bonus was that it cured the problem we were having with new registration notices not being sent to the admin.
The current list of monitored fields are maybe the least updated fileds.
The plug-in DOES support custom fields, just not as selectable via dedicated radio buttons. You have to enter custom field names in a text box.
