Backend
* Creation of google maps, you can set many parameters (size, map type, map controls, center point, ...)
* Creation of markers to link with the maps. Each markers groups is based on a Community Builder list (a list is created by a query, and lists of fields to display), and you can set an personnal icon. More that one list can be linked with one map
* Batch geocode existing profiles
Frontend
* Display each map created in backend by menu creation
* You can add a text abow and/or bellow the map with the profiles count (html accepted, you can easy center the map by adding styles arround the map).
Compatibility
* This product is only compatible with Joomla 1.5
* This product need to acces to the google geocode server. For that we uses a similar method like the CB version checker. If the CB checker dont work on your server, this component cannot work too.
* You need to create 2 new (if not existing) CB custom fields, for store the latitude and longitude on the user profile or use the free CB plugin include in the pack.
Testing
* You can test the frontend maps in this test server http://www.pelloquin.com/testsite (create your own CB profiles)

Quite easy to customise. Easy to install with instructions. Support is indeed excellent. I had a little problem that i couldn't solve with support forum and the developers help. So the developer solved it for me at my site. Now that's what i call support!

I tried the Community Builder Geocoding extensions from AngryNinjas, but the geocoder required legacy mode, still didn't work, and I never got a response form their support. Then I tried "The Geocode Factory for CB". Forget the rest, this one is fantastic!. Geocoding worked perfectly. I had one little problem with a map (turned out to be user error), but the support was fast and very helpful. Great mapping features such as clustering and more. This is the one to use.

I use Joomla 1.0.15 and tried a few programs like this. None of them worked like this geocoding tool.
Perfect.
In the beginning I found a small bug, but with very good assistance from the developer and a very clear forum. All worked perfectly and looks very perfect in my website.
Thanx

I love the product and the support. I had some problems with IE8 and the markers. It turned out is was my template that conflicted with IE8 and the markers.
Cédric is very patient and helpful. Thank you.

Well what can I say.
I have been using joomla for a long time and have used many if not all of the CB and Sobi2 commercial and non-commercial extensions and this one is up there with the best. Simple, with good instruction - ( doing what its supposed to!) but most important (and the justification of purchasing a product) is the level of support. And Cedric is "the man"!!!
I highly commend him and his ability to support the product and any small concerns or issues you may have. He was even willing to make a modification at his time/effort and cost w/o charge. Simply outstanding and a credit to the man.
I live in Australia and speak no french but this is the "Crème de la crème"

Having been working on a car club website with over 2000 members, I have been looking for a system to show all members where they are all located, where one can find certain types of cars and so forth. Cedric's extension makes that possible, without much problems at all.
Simple, clear and well written instructions, I was away running this in about 10 minutes.
The support is more than one could imagine, fast replies (even though my French isn't that brilliant!) and Cedric stand 200% behind his product. It is worth every Eurocent one pays.
In short, it works well, good details and excellent programming plus support! I personally recommend this extension!!!
On the wishlist would be being able to add fields to the bubble, being able to show pictures in there as well as a short video, but I am certain Cedric will pick up on this.
I gave it 5 stars, well deserved if you ask me.

This is a great add-on for Community Builder. At just over €23 it is not a lot to pay for the functionality alone.
It's a real plus that Cedric gives great support to the extent that he did some work on my database to get this working within the limitations of my server set-up.
On the downside, for me, his web site is in French and he admits on the help screens that his own English is not the best. Some of the back end is not translated but you can probably manage to figure that out. Most of the fields are obvious.
I had some problems finding installation instructions on his (French) site. Google translate doesn't do such a good job and there are many other extensions there (how does he support them all!). Forum support is in English for the most part.
I may have missed it but I would have liked a step-by-step install and set up instruction sheet. It was not intuitive for me to figure out the way that you need to set up the fields in Community Builder and the way that maps, users list and markers to all work together.
Given this small criticism the result is amazing: If it's all working 'as designed', users fill in their details as they register and they are auto-magically geocoded into Community Builder and a map appears on their profile page showing their position.
You can also have a separate map on your Joomla! web site showing all your registered users displayed with custom click-able icons on a map, with a summary of their profile details in a pop-up. Click on the link and their profile in CB opens up.
I can't criticise someone for not speaking English. My French is terrible.
It a fantastic add on.
(...and a great cheeky idea offering a discount on the next purchase in exchange for an honest review!...)

After having tried several other Geocode extensions and wasting some money doing so, I was beginning to think my server just wasn't capable. I even posted on several Joomla forums asking for help and feedback with no response. Then I tried this one, the Geocode plugin which is a free 'starter' to the Factory worked straight away so I opted for the very cheap Geocode Factory and was up and running in minutes.
Documentation was a little scarce and I had real worries about non-english speaking devs' plug-ins because of the language barrier, so when I ran into a small problem and posted about this on the support forum I was not expecting the results I got.
And the results were outstanding, the level of support offered by Cédric is as good as you would expect from an expensive commercial extension and the level of support has been better than ANY other extension I have ever used (which is many).
Now to the extension itself: this extension includes a mod and a component. The mod uses address fields from your CB profiles and turns these (via Google Maps) into two fields for Longitude and Latitude, you can set these fields yourself so they match up with any other list activity.
Using the Factory component you then see these co-ords plotted onto a map of your specification, including editable info bubble layout, editable markers and even editable layout.
There is much much more to this but its all very simple, and you always have the peace of mind knowing that support is there if you need it (which you rarely will).
