Syntax is: {cb_avatar}username{/cb_avatar}. Avatar will be inserted with the following attributes - title=username, alt=username, float: left, margin: 5px
Based on cb_profile mambot by Eric Sakic http://www.sakic.net
Versions for:
Joomla 1.0.15 or 1.5.x (untested on other flavours)
CB 1.1+ (untested on other flavours)

Because of prompt support from the owner I managed to get it working with the CB 1.2 and Joomla 1.5 as a article plugin linked to the CB profile.
And this is only if avatar exists...

To answer those looking for this functionality in the "Written by" section, check out the CB Authorbot hack. There is a thread at Joomlapolis.com that explains it here:

It also works for me, but I agree with kingbt ~ I strongly wish someone would create a plugin that would put the avatar image in the "Written by" section of a content item. I have users who create articles and this feature would be fantastic.

It works for me, but don`t forget to place {cb_avatar}admin{/cb_avatar} in the content
