The extension is incomplete with absolutely no answer from the developers through forum or through their support ticekt system.
The idea of the component is excellent and as i can understand it was so also for those who use the 1.5 version of joomla. But for 1.7.x it is not doing anything even close to what they say it does.
Do not buy it until the developers show some interest in their own forums and their support tickets.
I am sorry to hear this but it seems to me that you have installed the wrong version. We have versions for all joomla distributions, also for J2.5.
This is simply not true, in order to integrate Proma and AEC you need to make use of AEC's micro integration, not the other way around.
It is still possible to integrate the two together and let AEC assign the proper profile type, additionally we could have provided help for making this possible. Too bad that you have not approached us for a request but left us a negative review here which is not the proper place for requesting support.
To be fair to the developers, once you've purchased it they say that it's a 1.6 *Beta* extension and that it should not be used on a production site. They also offer to do an install, and perhaps they even have a checklist where they go through and fix all the errors that I'm discovering. However, I emailed them for support three days ago and haven't heard back. And with the kinds of bugs I'm finding, I know that it is not just a matter of configuration for a 1.6 site ant that significant portions of code need to be added, replaced, or corrected.
It's fine to have a beta product, but you shouldn't be advertising it as a working extension, especially because it's commercial.
Thanks for your review but I have to correct you on a few points. Our beta versions are always free until a release candidate is published, at that time they become commercial. If you had visited our free download section you would have found out and could have requested a free setup done by us despite of it being a free download. About not hearing back from us, we must have overlooked your email as we always reply within minutes during business hours. On a side note, the software is not in beta status anymore, it is now a release candidate. Nonetheless, thank you for your review.
Thank you to the developer for an amazing tool
Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Glad to know that you are enjoying our software, it was my pleasure to have helped you out and glad to have you onboard!
The component is very flexible and really does what is says, and is a great add on to CB.
Thanks
Thanks for the nice review and for reporting a bug that we could fix for you and our other customers.
As far as the extension goes - It adds GREAT functionality to your site. Not only can you have different types of profiles - the important part (to my site) was DIFFERENT REGISTRATIONS with different required fields - this is the ONLY product I have found so far that makes that possible - and as far as I can tell there is no limit to how many different types you can have.
Lastly you get what you pay for...Better support - continued development. the price is very reasonable - Go for the "platnium" it's only a few bucks more...espically with the discounts that are published right when you buy...(not sure how long they will be there...so buy now- right? LOL)
Unfortunately You have not given us a proper chance to resolve the issue before posting this review, the issue which is not related to our software is actually an easy fix however we cannot help you if there is no interaction, we have tried to contact you but have never heard back. I am not sure how this review can help other people decide whether the software would be good for their needs when its based solely on a server related issue and not about the usage of the software. Nonetheless we're sorry to hear that you are not satisfied.
The component is remarkable for allowing different levels of registration within your site. I couldn't have my site without it!
Thanks Al
Thanks for the wonderful review. We're glad to have helped you out and that you are enjoying our software!
In addition the customer support is second to none. I've emailed a couple of questions via the website and always got the answer the same day.
Component works very well also.
It's really a usefull extension but the version for CB 1.2.2 is still a little bit buggy.
I tried many times to get support via their own forum but nothing happens!
Also i found no update for the 21.3.2010
So, nice Sunday
