MiniSocialGender for JomSocial Plugin

What it does is simple:
1. When a user logs in the plugin checks if you are using the default jomsocial avatar
2. If the user is still using it, it checks if the user has set his/her gender
3. If a gender is set it checks if the user is male or female
4. It changes the avatar to a gender specific, random avatar from the MiniSoge folders
5. It displays a warning

How to set it up
When you have installed the plugin and configured it. All you need to do is put avatars in the specified folders.

Male: "plugins\user\minisocialgender_images\male"
Female: "plugins\user\minisocialgender_images\female"

In these folders you will see pre-installed avatars. The naming doesn't really matter, nor the format. The only thing that matters is that the file-name in the thumbs folder is exactly the same as the avatar one.

You need to do the resizing manually to 64x64 and make sure your avatars do not exceed the width of 160px.

You can add as many as you want
Make sure plugins\user\minisocialgender_images\ is writable. When a user gets and avatar assigned to him, a file is created here.

With minisocial gender we have the opportunity to built up a library with as many avatars of our choice we want , if some user prefer not to upload a pic.

*just be carefull,me first I thought that I had a problem, just because I was using the k2 registration form instead of jom social.

bravo again

I was about to get stuck into developing something like this and was pleasantly surprised when I came across this listing in the JED.

Well executed code, easy to install and configure and 100% Free. This is way ahead of other Commercial Developments out there.

If you can , do drop these guys a donation.
