What to say: the best component I have in use. This component resolved an issue I had for several of my sites and with out my website would still be under development.

Has great potential, but it's frustrating the animations are only available in the commercial version - and there is no way to yet to buy it as the author is still setting up payment arrangements. Please be quick :) I need this!

Wish list: Ability for the animation to rotate through all selected items, random or in order, if the number exceeds screen display space. (Might already be built-in to the commercial version, for all I know!)

Excellent module and can't wait for the animated version.
Mark is the developer, and he has gone the extra mile in attention to detail in the rich array of parameters (tool tips, etc) and step-by-step documentation for his module. You can display one column with unique CSS styling adjacent to the basic SOBI2 listing. In this way, you can truly distinguish a paid SOBI2 entry from unpaid. Great Work Mark! Oh...BTW, you cannot beat the price (free).
This is a great free module for showing sponsored listings in sobi and highly customisable. The most amazing thing however is the detailed documentation (found at the sobi forum), as well as the great support by the author. I never really had to contact him directly since the documentation covered me, but I see the support in the forum threads. It seems hard to find such documentation (and support) for even commercial works. A big thank you to Mark for this, well deserved.

Excellent value and wonderful idea. This installed perfect, works perfect and the support is perfect.

Not sure what to say....awesome job!
When looking for a directory for my association, I discovered this component an this has been the reason for me to select SOBI2.

It offers the flexibilty to display the entries in as many forms as needed. And because it is free of charges, no problem to validate the way to use it.

I cannot recommend this module enough!

A few years back I used different software - I've lost count of the hours spent customising it.

After moving to Joomla! & using Sobi2, I didn't think I'd be able to have 'Top' listings in my Sobi2 categories, then I found SOBI Simple Featured Listings.

I was up & going in less than 10 minutes. I spent a lot more time on the CSS.

Easy to install, understand & customise.

A big thank you to the developer.

As still a relative newbie I am always worried about adding things to a working website, my experience with this though was great - good documentation in the forums it uploaded without a hitch and did exactly what it claims it will do !

Its being heavily supported right now and several updates have been released in the past week at time of writing - but uninstall and reinstall of a newer version also went without a hitch.

Highly recomended if you need / want to "feature" some of the listings in your SOBI2 directory - probably has other uses too!
