Usage instructions:
* Extract SOBI2 (or plugin or module etc)
* Unpack and copy this script into the directory where You've unpacked SOBI2 (or plugin or module etc)
* From the console execute sh clone_sobi.sh
* Follow the further instructions
The SOBI2 demo site uses a clone called com_extensions (similar to Joomla Extensions Directory). This SOBI2 clone (and all add-ons for it) has been created with this script.
Requirements: Linux or Mac OS operating system.
Should also works on M$ Window$ with Cygwin - http://www.cygwin.com/
2 pieces of advice for users...
1.backup your site before you run this (just in case)
2.Read the instructions carefully!
the clone tool is not loaded into the existing directory, but loaded into an unzipped folder of the component (not an installed one).
That said, it worked well and has provided us with a consistent look and feel across 2 applications on the site now.

Cloned with no problems, except when it prompts you to enter the name you want listed in the component menu for J!, I still get the stock SOBI2 name for both clones, so now I don't know which clone I am using for which until I go into the component and check which articles are there (they are in different places in my component list, but still). Otherwise, worked wonderfully.
After manually trying to clone SOBI2 and the add-ons, and taking long periods to end up frustrated with a clone failure, I decided to try this tool to clone SOBI2 and the Sigsiu add-ons.
It makes the process a breeze and I completed clones of all of the add-ons literally in minutes.
Requires a Linux or Mac OS operating system but it is highly recommended.
