So user can select the behavior (scroll, slide, alternate), Ads displaying order (newest, oldest, random).
Module CSS can be overwritten also.
It is based on VirtueMart product scroller module.
If you check live site demo you will completely understand what does this module do...
NOTE! Please use the DOWNLOAD link from this site!
I hope you'll enjoy it.

Without the ability to add custom fields this module is rather limited. (Hackable, but at what point is it easier just to write my own module?)
Custom fields and a bit more control over layout, then you would really have something.
(Suggestion: load the off-screen images in background rather than waiting for them to rotate onto screen before loading. It will seem a lot faster. Currently a bit jerky on slow connections.)
Great potential.

First a big thanks for you to provide a wonderfull extention to this world. I think it will be fullfilled if you provide some option to include values from custom fields along with the icon.
Also, I installed the extension and I found the scroller is functioning only one time for each page refresh. Is this a limitation or am I missing something?
Cheers

Perfect module ...It's very easy to install and very easy to use. I had only one problem...I can't make the ads be positioned on the middle.
Great job again

Module works great as advertised; would be great if there were a way to loop the marquee without any breaks in the images. Anything like that in the works?

This is a fantastic module. Everything works.
Just one majore issue I spotted testing the component.
With SOBI2 SEF plugin and using Joomla Core SEF, the link do not show to the SEF liks, it add's http://[url].com/component/sobi2/[entryname] where component/sobi2 is showing in error. Also, whe you click on the link it takes you to SOBI2 index page without any modules you assigned to menu entry.
Lastly, credit always due for hard work and this is awesome module but it is not always possible to show credits with all your solutions, so option to disable credit would be good as I would rather not use it than edit the credit out.
THANK YOU for good solution!

You can check the download site - i use it with core sef+sobi2 sef. I tried it to use with sh404sef also. So if you have any problems - please give me url to check. Anyway i plan to fix some bugs shortly and upload new version-so maybe i will replace sef function call.
Best regards, Daniel

This is a terrific idea to port the Virtumart ad scroller to SOBI. Works perfectly!
