The emails can be created by using the Sobi and custom fields placeholders texts, and the Sobi signature is used.
You can check the entries to see if an email address is present, and can can simulate the send to see each email content. The emails are send by package of 20, 50, 150 or 300 entries at once, and a server pause is automaticaly made betwen each passe. It's possible to send an test email to the address of your choice. Attachment are allowed.
NEW : If allowed by admin, frontend users (or member only) can send emails to all owners of a category,
[English] , [Français] , [Dutch] , [Spain] , [Polish] , [Portuguese] , [Greek]

This plug-in is absolutely brilliant.
I have a large Sobi2 hobby directory, the entries of which I added myself, and I wanted to wait until my website was finished before sending a message to everyone welcoming them to my website. The Sobi2 mailing plugin made it easy to do this and it had a progress bar showing me how many messages had been sent (I sent over 1000).
I now use it to send newsletters and 'latest news posts'. I can easily send different emails to different hobby clubs based on what Sobi2 category they're in. But what's better is that I can choose any of my custom fields to decide who to receives the email. e.g. I can send a message only to clubs in a particular London Borough. This is very useful.

Little plugin, very easy to use and working like a charm. You will be able to send emails to all your entries owners in two steps. Write that you want to send them and a few options, you can use placeholders to send personalized emails, save and send. Very easy, incredible.

Bravo and thanks for taking the time to develop this. I am very glad that this extension exists.
Hopefully the developer will make a few upgrades soon like... more options for sending batch emails or possibly adding html code in the body of the email. This plugin is definitely priced appropriately!
