- This extension requires registration to download.
This plugin add in the add entry form some fields useful to create the joomla user account (like the email, username, ...). You need to assign some existing Sobi fields (field_email, field_name, ...).
If Community Builder is present, the profile is create at the same time with minimal informations. In case of registred user, the login proccess is made, and in case of registred users, the password and username dont apears.
No Joomla confirmation email is sent, but you can use the sobi notification email to send the user login informations.
Last update: the plugin try to synchronise the Sobi2 entered values with the CB or JS profile.

This was just smooth and easy installation. Once you've read tutorial and follow it - the plugin working fantastic. All questions to the author answered immediately - professional advises given. I had to do some begging for help, and I found it very difficult to find any documentation for installation or parameter use, but once Rick came through the plugin worked perfectly.
The registration confirmation had to be turned off in CB which poses a security degradation, but with the captcha working in both Sobi2 and CB it seemed a reasonable compromise considering what the client wanted as the end result.

This is a great plugin... and the latest version includes a captcha function and also the option to use just captcha and connect the sobi fields with cb fields... Just great!! and support excellent. Thanks
I used this plugin on a complex directory website running on SOBI2 with many, often invasive, extensions that (since most of them were 3rd party) would sometimes conflict with each other. when I ran into trouble with the captcha in this plugin (which was actually caused by another extension), the developers were so kind as to re-write parts of it to get it to work, which they did within 24 hours. recommendable extension and great support

A very good plugin. With register plugin, the user haven't to register/connect before adding an entry. All is done in the same time.
The possibility to have a cutom login form when we need to change an entry would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply. There is no other solution. If the user isn't logged, there is no edit button, and we dont want to add an login form in the entry detail view.
The best workaround is to make a menu item that point on the user listing, then after the login (standard joomla module), the user can access its entries. Another solution is adding the entries to the user profile by installing the CB plugin.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to install and setup.
In my book this is a must have for any Sobi directory.

This extension makes it much easier for users to create a listing and register on your site using single form, and it should be made a core part of SOBI2. Great work and highly recommended.
Our users are small business people with very little computer experience. This module eliminated the two step process that was confusing to our users and excluding many from publishing in our directory. Thanks to cédric.
The plugin provides a long awaited solution to register Joomla and/or CB users right within Sobi. Instead of using the CB-Dinosaurus, we now have all user details in one sobi clone, and the user's offers in other clones. Just perfect!

I buy this pluggin and I must say that it's perfect. His autor give me a great support and the plugin works perfectly with the last version of SOBI2 and community builder.
I've not tried it myself, but a good friend of mine has told me about the registration plug-in and it's easy integration with the other joomla components and modules especially Community Builder. I'm just ordering my copy now.
We all have been waiting for a solution to one of the biggest problems with SOBI, the lack of a registration plugin. I highly recommend this plugin to anyone who has SOBI and want to make it easier for their clients to register and avoid allot of confusion.
