"Categories of SobiPro" is a module to show a simple list of categories in your site. You only have to specify the Section, and it shows the next levels of categories.
These are the main module parameters:
- Section - Parent section of categories to be shown.
- Menu - Menu to be forced in each category link.
- Count - The number of items to display (default is 100).
- Order - Alphabetically / Id / Counter Desc [*]
- Show Counter - No / Hits / Entries [*]
- Category List Mode - 1, 2, or 3 Levels.
- Hide Empty Categories - Yes / No.

I really like categories of SobiPro because instead of having to make a new menu item every time I add a category, it just automatically displays the new link in the module position and looks like an extended part of my regular menu. It saves me a lot of time!
I use it in a multilingual site, combined to Search Plugin + to hide empty categories and count entries. I was afraid of conflicts with SobiPro Map Search from MyJoom, but there is no problem. The module is really easy to configure. The boring work to create x Joomla menu links is done in 1mn and site navigation enhanced.
Moreover the support is great. I did a mistake in my order and M. Sanchez quickly made a gesture of goodwill. I really appreciated it, thanks again!

I needed to have a list of the categories, and also to HIDE the empty ones.
I bought the app, and then after a few days, an update had been released that enabled this,
WORKS PERFECTLY!

It was a really challenge!
At the end, we've added the feature to count all entries in each category, according to the tree.
