- This extension requires registration to download.
And filter your products using those features together with Categories, Manufacturers and/or Price range with the AJAX based VMF module. Managing Product Types is a really pain, use VMF and make your work easy.
• Features can be connected to category/ies having different features for each category/ies.
• Progressive loading of the features and Manufacturers according to the selected category.(eg. Will return the available 'inches' if the selected category is 'Screens')
• Auto loading of the features of the category used in a VM browse page.
• Could return products that match all the selected criteria OR those that match at least one.
• Smart algorithm that displays higher, the products that match to more selected criteria.(Best match sorting).
• Multiple (checkboxes) or Single (radio buttons) Categories selection.
• Manufacturer filter.
• Custom Price range filtering (From-To)
• Elegant , Fast and Easy to use (AJAX based) search-module
• Supported by the CSVI component. For adding features using csv files
• Multiple translations. English, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Ukranian, Dutch

This extension does exactly what it says and Sakis provided timely support for questions I had. Thanks for a great extension! Worth the investment.
We started looking for a VM product search long time ago. We tested more of free programs, but every free program has problems. After that, we decided to buy a program, and we choosed VMF. Why? First of all, we liked the absolut usable VMF demo (it is free for every user) In the first time, we tested VMF demo more times.
After the test, we were sure, this component was what we need. The price is correct, and we had not any problems after the installation.
We did not get any mistake messages, and that was not any conflicts with the exist extensions.
Everybody knows, because the VMF use Java, this situation is quite rare. Moreover, we had special need and we got the solution in extra short time!
What more can I say ? In the next time we need any program, VMF will be the first choice.
Many thanks if you are for all the JOOMLA and VM users! I am waiting for the next versions and other development.

this is great module!!!! i have a little problem in vm products page that this module doesn't work. after contact with support team they send me a module advanced module manager and everything is fine!!! i suggest this module in people that need a module in order everyone can search the product they want!!!!
I downloaded this component after having a nightmare experience with a similar highly rated component. The installation and configuration was simple and easy. I had a few questions, which were answered promptly by the support team they also sent me customized modifications so that i could tailor the module to suit my exact requirements. Top Draw!!!
This is a great component for allowing decent filtering options in your virtuemart site without hacking into any core code and with only basic knowledge of Virtuemart. Simple and easy to use for those with common sense.
Should you wish to alter the appearance, you will need to understand css and change the component/modules core css files.
My experience of the help is definately a pleasant one, they were quick to offer advice and helped with creating the look I was after.
Having said this, I would like to point out that the extension is worth the price I paid but still needs attention for growth, there are bugs, although quickly fixed when requested, I hope that the programmer will continue to build upon this simple yet intuitive extension and provide further releases.
They have my full support!

From the looks of it, this extension should have been excellent. In fact, the support has been quite fast. However, I find this extension full of bugs. I don't expect it to be perfect but for a paid extension, this is quite unacceptable. They do not tell u that VMF does not work with SEF components. I had to solve some bugs on my own while others I had to depend on them (still unsolved). They think that by responding fast to bugs ticket is good enough. Well, the news is... if your extension is good, there should not be so many bugs in the first place! Make sure you guys get all the bugs sorted out before releasing your extension!

Installation was easy, customising the tool is easy and managing the features and what products they relate to is incredibly easy.

Does exactly what i needed. It's a must have for any Virtuemart store.
You can create any feature and values you want, which shows up in the search module.
For example: feature: color.
Values (red, blue, white etc..)
Then you can assign any feature to to any category you want. Also to multiple categories at once.
Then you assign the values to the products you want. You can select multiple or all values at once and assign them to all products or to a selection of products.
