If the wording was a bit more concise and perhaps there was a product thumbnail, I'd give it 5 stars.
I dont normally like to write a negative feedback, as I always and always try to resolve it first. But I think it is important that everybody should know what to expect from yagendoo if you pay for a product or service.
Products I bought didnt quite work the way they should have done, and I contacted the seller for some help. I am not a programmer but Im reasonably IT savvy, so I know what Im doing & with a little support I can do a lot. But yagendoo couldn't be bothered responding.
I am therefore unable to rate support, as there isn't one. I tried sending few emails from my personal email as well as from their website using "contact us" form. Not a single reply. I then informed them I was going to open a dispute with paypal. Again no response, other than my purchase was cancelled immediately!
The most disappointing thing is Paypal closed the dispute in sellers favour. So NO REFUND from either side.
I honestly and truthfully urge everybody thinking twice before paying for something from yagendoo. By all means try free extensions/modules but BE CAREFUL when paying. You are very unlikely to get it back if it doesn't work.
So far I have invested quite some money on extensions/modules/plugins etc. and never came across with a seller this unprofessional.
I bought their SEO product, that its a completly scam, it doesnt work with jscook Menu.
I have payed for a product that doesnt work and they denied the refund.
This company is not serious, it's really sad that such people exist!
I also had a problem with a template, I also requested support.
The support guy requested ftp-access right away. I mentioned that i would prefer a description / guidance how to fix the problem instead of granting ftp access to my eCommerce site to somebody I dont know.
The summary of yagendoos reply to my request was something in between "no ftp-access? so fix it yourself" and "f*** off then"...
A reputable company would never request ftp access to fix a simple template/presentation problem. The fact that you receive no more support or answers if you refuse to provide unsecure, vulnerable access to this guy underlines that working with this company may mean a serius harm to your site.
I had lots of IE errors and even their site have them, and when I asked then to fix it or give me some feedback, there was nothing, not even one reply, so I guess the IE problems still exist.
I have logged a payment dispute on PayPal as I will not pay for something that does not work, or I they are not willing to fix it!
People, think twice before getting their stuff!

I don't have IE either but I've installed this extension easily and had it tested through browsershots.org with IE7... Guess what? It rendered fine. I've had to make a couple of CSS adjustments to make it fit my template but nothing really important.
I almost disregarded this extension after reading the previous review but honestly, it isn't fair.

Installation instructions clear. Thats about it. Product works standalone, but when you try and use it with any other of their products it does not behave correctly.
None of their recent products are stand alone, they all require some form of deviation from instructions, or severe hacking to get working.
To top this, loads of display problems in IE. When I contacted the developer he did say he didn't have IE on his machine. So I would only assume all products would have errors in IE.
I contacted the only support person 8 weeks ago. I do have his skype address as well, so have contacted him daily. He is online and refuses to answer.
I did get one of the handful of fixes completed shortly after my first request and this was a FF fix, so assume he was able to see the problem and resolve it through Fire Bug.
Anyway all of the IE problems remain, and problems with his other software when both are used together. I have until now purchased all software that is available from these people, and would hope that my loyalty would be rewarded, alas this is not the case.
To top this my support call was closed... I questioned this and they told me they closed all their open calls... which makes me think I am not the only one with this problem. Also they do not have a forum, I guess this is also to protect against any negativity.
I am now resorting to a paid job to fix this commercial software. I'm not sure all their testimonials are true.
I have not been aggressive or offensive in any of my contact, and cannot understand why there is no support for a fundamental problem.
A good product if you don't have any customers that use IE....
The situation is quite different. You achived a first class support for several days from us, we also have done some special adjustments for you for FREE. As we told you, the most issues were cause by your selfmade template which we have fixed for FREE, too!
Your Webpage and the look of your virtuemart shop were at last perfect, and we solved all of your problems. After we declined to create more special adjustments for free for you , you wrote this review. (in despite?)
The fact, that you post that rewrite to a non commercial, not related Joomla! module from us, verified the presumption, that you wanna bash us.
We have hundreds of satisfied customers, you are the first one who write such truthless statements. It is really sad that such people exist!
