Features of Product Compare extension.
1. Product Compare has three configuration options, Global, Category and None.
Global compare - products from 2 or more different categories can be compared.
Category compare - products from within the category can be compared.
None - compare is disabled.
2. Products can be removed either from the compare cart or compare page.
3. Shopper can add products to compare from the flypage (product details page) in addition to the browse list.
4. A default compare page can be set in VirtueMart global layout configuration.
5. In addition to default compare page, compare page template can be set in category configuration too. The category compare page template will be used only when compare type = category.
6. User can customize the compare_cart template independent of the browse page.
7. Added new $compare_cart tag to both browse and flypage template. $compare_cart can be placed anywhere on the browse page or flypage. The layout of compare cart is determined by the compare_cart template described in 6.
8. Added a compare_cart_product template. The user can now edit this template to customize the display of individual compare product thumbnails and the remove button.
9. User can set which fields to compare within the global configuration. If additional control is needed, the user can customize the compare template.
10. In addition to the normal product fields, product type fields can also be compared. Parameter fields are automatically added to the compare table. If a parameter field is not comparable, the user can modify the template to disable that comparison.

When my client told me he wanted to compare products in Virtuemart, I was a little nervous until I found this extension. I had a lot of other add-ons and enhancements installed already, but this extension performed perfectly. Incredible support, Peter even fixed my code inserts when an unexpected issue popped up; turned out the problem was between the keyboard and chair! Thanks for a great product!
First, I was afraid that i cant find a solution for my virtue mart shopping cart which enable users to compare products like Magento and other shopping cart's.
But the big moment came true, when I discover this module here, it does what it said and believe me it worth a million for the great function it gave me, with its easy to install, with the help of the team of support, am satisfy.

Excellent product with excellent support.
I am not a programmer & was able to install it, but ran in to a few problems. Their support came to my rescue within a couple of hours & even logged in to fix the problem for me!
Until Virtuemart comes out with a built in product compare then I highly recommend this extension.

This is the best extension for VirtueMart I know and it's worth every penny.
Integration is easy. It seems complex, but it's not.I changed VM much so I followed installation instructions, the method for inserting code in files and it works from first.
Configuration - no problem. It's great, cause you can allow comparing or not for every category.
I'm only missing "Fields to compare" for every category. Future project?
Well code is clean, understandable and it's easy to fix so it corresponds for use. I'm not php master but I easily changed view so it fit into my page.
Developer is one great guy. Communication with him is quick and useful.

I have to thank the developer that really helped me a lot to install the component and make it work.
It's a little bit hard to install in the beginning (if you have a customized site) but in the end you have a professional and modern look in your site.
The price is good and is worth every cent.
