First Order Discount is compatible with Joomla 2.5 and Virtuemart 2.X
It consists of:
1. First Order Discount component
2. FirstOrderCoupon plugin (generates the discount coupons)
3. Autocoupon plugin (Adds the discount coupon automatically on cart and disables it when it is used)
4. ValidateCoupons plugin (Validates the discount coupons that are generated, for Virtuemart 2.X)
You will install and get it working in 2 minutes. No Core code hacks.
The process is as follows: User1 registers on site. A new discount coupon is generated. The user adds some products on cart. The discount coupon is added on cart automatically. When User1 confirms the order the discount is disabled automatically so that cannot be used again. The coupon is disabled when task=confirm.
A simple and easy way to gain new customers and make them happy!
