Joomla 1.5 Combi Product component is specially designed for those whole sellers, retailers who are interested in launching new schemes for their valuable customer base. Using this Combi Product component retailer can attract more customers towards his products. This Combi Product component help retailers to make combinations of different products to sell them in discount scheme.
Features of the Joomla 1.5 Combi Product Component:-
1.Combi product component works with virtuemart.
2.Admin can add multiple products to combi product.
3.Combi product should be introduce by a new image.
4.This combi product component is compatible with Joomla 1.5 native.
5.Combi product component works fine with Virtue Mart 1.1.3.
As with the other review, I feel my $60 is lost, this is one of the worst Joomla extensions I have used out of many, many hundreds!
You cannot edit, delete or in anyway alter a Combi product once you make one, except through the database which is crazy!
The support reply ok but I was only told the component is working - go and check it!!
This is along way away from being anywhere near ready for use on a live site - I could have got 2-3 great extensions of that 60 bucks;(

I had high hopes that $60 spent on this would save me coding it myself but I was wrong...
1. Hacks four PHP classes without warning nor does it make backups for uninstalling.
2. The hacks are with an old release of VirtueMart so you get back bugs that were previously fixed.
3. The hacks are poorly commented, if at all, making hand editing of the current release nearly impossible
4. If you update VirtueMart it breaks the component
5. There is no way to edit the combinations you created
6. And it appears you can't delete them except in MySQL
7. I would check the documentation if there was any.
I can understand this in a free component, or one in beta, but they are selling this. I have requested a refund, save yourself the grief and don't buy it.
If they step up and fix it I will be the first to review positively. Let's hope they do.
