The extension can function as a module or as a component. The products featured can be: products on special display, random products, top products, and recent products. The appearance can be customized, with either a horizontal or a vertical layout for the thumbnails, plus the background colour and style can be chosen, with a choice of either solid or a gradient background. There are also a variety of image transitions available, including: fade, rotate, photo flash, zoom, squeeze, random and none.
This extension has been recently updated, and now includes a choice of Flash and HTML/javascript galleries.
The Flash gallery includes a choice of 4 layouts, and a variety of image transition effects. The HTML gallery includes an optional scroller andan image lightbox. A new content plugin which is included with the extensions allows you to embed the HTML gallery directly into a Joomla article.
