Multiple Display for Virtuemart
The original Allinone module only displays in vertical position which i can't use for horizontal position. Too long if to display 3 products and above. Further more the Topten only display text, no image.
Now the Multiple Display module is capable of displaying horizontal, vertical and multi-rows position. User can set the parameters in the module admin panel.
User can choose to have all or any the display panels shown (in tab form) within a single module (which is space saving), namely "Random products", "Latest Products", "Most Popular products" and "Featured Products".
There are many settings now as compared to the original. User can have custom text to display on the tab of each display panels. Example you can rename the default "Featured Products" to "Special Promotions" or anything you like.
Number of items to display can also be set through the module admin panel.
Installation :
Login to your joomla admin panel as usual.
Go to Extensions -> install/uninstall -> browse the downloaded mod_multidisplay module and install.
Go to Extensions -> Module Manager and publish the mod_multidisplay module. Click on the mod_multidisplay module to enter into the module admin settings.
That's all. Settings are properly labeled there.

thanks for the comment. Since this is a module, you can easily make it appear on the pages you need. Go to module manager -> find and click on the said module name -> scroll further down on the left bottom find the option where you can select on which pages to show it. You can multi-select (press ctrl key while using mouse click) the pages. Hope this helps.

Thanks. To display more products, go to backend module manager, look for this module name and click on it. Look for "No of items display" and set total number of products to display. For "Display Style" set "Table (X rows and Y columns)" option. For "Products per row" set the number of products in a row. Save. That's all.
most of the case, the images are automatically detected except for featured products, you need to check on the "on special" in the product edit page.
I myself did use "AiContactSafe" as the contact form in all my clients' websites but never encounter incompatibility problem with this module. As for the other 2 I have not tried.
1. Random Products pulls products from UNpublished categories. I'm sure that's an easy fix for the developer, I just disabled this tab for now.
2. Another tab needs to be available that can be completely customized. Meaning, admin can choose which categories are displayed as well as products displayed.
The second issue is an issue that plagues most virtuemart modules. For large amounts of categories and products (e.g. dropship setups) this is a MUST.
