Free shipping info is a joomla 1.5 native module that works with the virtuemart component and displays in real time info to the users telling them how much they should add to their cart to have the free shipping and so encourage them to buy more and more :)

The module is fully configurable :

* The amount of free shipping.
* Rest to reach the free shipping text.
* Pretext could be added
* Currency could be set
* Color of texts could be set to feat your design....
* You can ajust the module class suffix for a best integration with your template
* You can customise it by adding images or tell us to do it for you.

It only costs about $10.00 and really works well.
I contacted them when I need the $dollar sign to be in a different spot and they created another version.

The XML file allows for tailoring, so you can really get this to do what you want it to.

It's smart enough to know when items are removed from the cart and reports the status appropriately.

This extension is very useful and save my life.
Finally I found it for virtuemart and works like a charm.
Just 2 minutes to install it and configure it!
It works with Joomlafish without any problem
It's not at all expensive

This will work ok for EURO countries but for our UK site the £ symbol appears after the ammount, plus there is only one decimal place. The module should be developed to have more user options too as I don't want the compulsary text advertising free postage to appear as I have a graphic for this.

Had to disable from my site.

When some users had special needs they contacted us via the support centre and we did our best to help.
All users that need to have the symbol before the amount and more decimals should contact us after purchasing and we will send FOR FREE and immediately a special version for them.
I don't understand well your 2nd question! There is NO advertising text in the module as you can see in our demo.
