Tracking extension for Virtuemart is different to all other tracking extension: it tracks in server-side with _utm.gif php procedure, enabling mobile apps when running without javascript engine.
And, most important - it track ALL payment methods - even banking money transferts or paying on shipping. So, not only web-processors as paypal or credit cards!
Virtuemart tracking extension works also with the regular site traffic letting you to overwrite google analytics cookies variables, as expiring time, cache, and more.
So, you need anything else to connect your joomla and virtuemart to Google Analytics. It resolves everything!
Virtuemart tracking extension is available for Joomla 1.7/2.5 and Virtuemart 2.x. or joomla 1.5 and Virtuemart 1.1.x.
**PHP TRACKING** to Google Analytic using the "__utm.gif pixel request", the php server-side google function for server and mobile service. It works very well even in complex system, because it uses a "database queue" to track transactions after any other extension has rendered!
**GOOGLE COOKIES** Virtuemart tracking extension stored encrypted users google cookies in a dedicated db table when customers click on the "confirm order" button on your cart. When customers pay (with or without automatic web service) it finds the customer IP in the database, load the google-cookies stored when purchasing and tracks the exact user information on Google Analytics! It is the right way to do it!
At the cheaper commercial price for this kind of extension!

The installation of the plugin went really smooth and there was a minor problem with a error (not caused by the plugin) that showed up in the checkout. The support of virtuemartrackingextension didn't stop until the fix was made, even while it was a error that had nothing tot do with the plugin.
I bought this extension just a few days ago and it does everythihng it says.
There was a problem on my website with another extension (also had analytics possibilities), but this was solved by Marco in no time.
I love the possibilities to set goals in Analytics with the use of this plugin.

I have bought this extension for one of our customers. But i had a problem with the extension because my customer didnt use user registration or order status change in Virtuemart. Marco and Giorno developed a custom extension for my customer. Without charging! Excellent service, they kept helping me till the end! Lots of developers can learn a bit from these two Italian chaps!
After purchasing all extension in the world of joomla/virtuemart/google analytics, this is finally the solution. Purchased both for vm1 and 2, it simply works in the way you need. Perfect bank money transfert payments when it's me to confirm orders from backend. Suggest to any virtuemart user, the price is nothing.
I am so satisfied with this extension that I do need to write a review. Thanks to this extension, we managed to know where our money really came from (and not from what we thought...) and we manage to put our advertising budget in the keywords and ads that pay ! This extension and the data that it provides is extremely beneficial to our business. If you have a VirtueMart store, you MUST buy this extension.

By far the best. Simply, it tracks everything. When installing I thought to miss something, because it's absolutely simpler than ever (and I tried 4 other commercial solution in these years). Just give it the UA code, setup analytics to track ecommerce, and it's enough. It tracks both the orders than the products inside, so analytics can calculate the stats for each products, and category. I have some manual payment, as bank money transfert and a payment on shipping received, this extension tracks them when I set the order status on confirmed. The simplest and better extension I have ever tried for tracking virtuemart to google analytics.
